You know doc, with all these deficiencies that I have heard about over these years, having worried sleepless nights wondering what deficiency I’ll have when I wake up in the morning…..I can’t believe I’m still working out at The 😮gym in my mid eighties. Man, those deficiencies can give a guy NIGHTMARES!! Blessings.
Very glad to be of help, thanks for watching!
I was facing anemia in college days due lack of B12. And I was unknown about it. It makes one very weak to concentrate and memorize or study.

Thank you Dr Berg!!
Many thanks, you are a true friend to many…..♥️💯👍🌟
Thank you.
@Milton Bates Dr. Berg did say that Sea Kelp was a rich source of iodine.
Thank you, and after looking at the list the only thing I have here is the stress….it’s huge!
Thank you very much!🥰
For number 4 – yes b12 and folate. BUT. IT ALL STARTS WITH VITAMIN B1. Taking b1 solved so many issues for me. You could be getting enough folate, b12, iron, but it wont do anything to fix the problem if b1 is low. However, even if you are not b1 deficient, mega dosing b1 helps a range of things. cleared up my athletes foot too.
Great video once again !! Great idea to list common signs that people face to nutrient deficiencies. More videos like this format please !!! Keep it up Dr. Berg
No problem. Glad you like the information here.
Would you please do a video on deficiencies relating to:
Sibo-c
Acid reflux
Hypothyroidism
Hormone
High blood pressure
As you said before, we shouldn’t have 7 to 10 cups of salad because sibo can make stomach feel worse. I’d like to gain weight but eating healthy saturated and fat foods causes much stresses to my stomach on account of the back up.
Dr Berg could you do a deep dive into menopause and how to naturally help with symptoms? Also depression? I’m in a really bad way I can barely do anything at all .
Dr. Berg did at least one video where he discusses menopause and hormones. If I remember correctly, he said we should do Keto, eat cruciferous veggies, ACV for proper digestion and nutrient absorption, nutritional yeast for b vitamins, vitamin d & k2, intermittent fasting, walk outside in the sunlight, stress management, and that our goal should be to get our bodies to produce just the right balance of hormones, whereas, if we take hormones, the glands that produce these hormones will stop doing it naturally. That was my takeaway. Hope this helps you.
Your very welcome! Glad to help
@Margo Kerby thank you …I’m finding it so difficult I can’t even bring myself to get showered , to get outside. I feel like I’ve lost part of myself and it’s like depression but I know it’s the menopause. Thanks again I’ll search for his video 💗👌
Angie, you may have B12 deficiency, depression is one of the main symptoms
@Saritha Rajan yes probably because I don’t eat meat …thank you 👌💗
I have been watching your videos for awhile, Doc. And I am inevitably left wondering how in the world I’ve managed to live to the ripe old age 77. I am interested in how the body works, (not necessarily) in all the ways that that people contribute to their own demise. ENCOURAGEMENT is actually a much more powerful incentive than endless lists of NO NO’s…no?
Stress is THE worst thing in my opinion, as it multiples the bad effects of things on your health. Be happy. Surround yourself with positive people. The less stress you have, the better you body will feel.
Thank you Dr. Berg! This is me for sure….no acid in my stomach, and I always feel better with ACV. I don’t drink alcohol, and don’t eat grains. I’m on Keto. My stress is overwhelming with tons of medical issues with my poor husband for a number of years now. So, I really appreciate this information and for you!
Thanks Dr Berg, how can one address the issue of low stomach acid
They usually suggest HCL
@Boitumelo Wadikonyana You could drink a glass of water with a table spoon of apple cider vinegar to help your stomach acid for digestion.
if you do this; be sure to brush your teeth shortly after due to acidity.
@Michael Blue thank you will try it
Truely Dr Berg… Your Lessons should be in all schools..
You’d save our health systems millions…🤩
sad part is because of that they never will
Thank you for sharing all your advices. You are describing exactly my symptoms. God Bless you Dr Eric Berg 🙏💕
Our bodies can tell us so much, and Dr Berg is here to tell us what it all means!
I can’t imagine how many lives your videos change and or even saved! You’ve helped me so much and my Dad.
Very informative Dr. Berg! Thank you again for sharing your incredible knowledge!
I have had all of these symptoms, I was born in Afghanistan in 90s and I developed strabismus/ crossed eye at early age and everyone thought I got that because of trauma as there were many blast when I was one month old and we had to leave our country, 20 years later I did a strabismus eye surgery but sometimes my left eye hurts and I have been told by Canadian doctors I have slight symptoms of glaucoma, but now I feel like it is always been nutrient deficiencies as I was suggested to get some v-b12 shots for a year now I’m doing better but fatigue is always there which makes me a lazy person even though I work two jobs but I’m unable to work hard for my own dreams, and have no idea except for change of diet how to change this.
14. Runny nose after physical exertion. This one took me 50 years to figure out. But for me, I lose calcium when I sweat. And when my calcium levels are low, then my nose runs like a hose. Taking a calcium supplement or eating foods with calcium (Greek yogurt) will instantly correct the issue for me.
Thank you so much for this- I was just able to correlate my sudden weight gain that I noticed in my stomach to a choline deficiency. So helpful!
