Wow, thank you Doctor for admitting that even Doctors like yourself are forced to memorize and regurgitate!!! That is the problem in every area, not only Doctors, but Lawyers, Psychologists, and so on…
It’s funny after watching this I watched Dr.. Pual Marek on the American Thought Leaders say the residents just regurgitate information and don’t use that thing between thier ears.
@Robert Johnson you nailed it! That’s why we homeschool and with a classical approach. Learning to memorize is key, but that’s not understanding. It’s just info. The layers of application need to be applied. People need lots of memorization from a young age as it’s good for the brain, but then as we get older we discuss what’s been memorized and why, then later we can synthesize our own thoughts- hopefully with wisdom.
Imagine this method being in you since age 5… it would be ludicrous to just treat people with a memorized list… or treat any part of life without independent thinking. Our education system- even medical school- sadly produces list makers, not makers of life.
Much like learning about real nutrition and health here, homeschooling has been our way of unplugging from the broken machine and thriving with real knowledge!
Dr. Berg has been part of our homeschool for Science and Health. My 12 year old now knows more about esting for healthier liver function than what my primary doctor shares.
@David Catlin the first few chapters of Proverbs is all about Wisdom. It’s been helpful for me lately.
Indeed thats why all the diseases from bad nutritional and drug pushers advice
@David Catlin ☺️..👆👆👆📬
Yes, sugar is very unhealthy, so I gave it up already, thank you very much doctor for the important information!
Congrats!!! I’m addicted to the stuff. I’m 83 so friends say oh just go for it. I’m all too happy to obey them. The next morning my body is talking to me…joints, myoclonus, etc. it’s odd how I ‘know’ yet haven’t ‘learned’. 🫤 I need to find that discipline and dedication I had at one time. 🤷♀️
@Shirley Clemmer Thank you 😊

Thank you Dr Berg!! 🐱👍🏿
Thank you 😊 ❤
Thanks man
Many thanks.
@Kenn Yeah,it gets a bit tricky!
Thank you!🤩
Agreed…GP’s don’t think independently. They are trained to just match a symptom to a medication. They don’t use an investigative approach to find the root cause. They dont have time for that either. I basically come on this channel for cures. Helped me a lot. Appreciate it Dr Berg. 🙂
“Medicine” is a thoroughly controlled ah . . . Industry? Racket? From rigidly controlled training in med school, to the “Standard of Care”, to control of in patient treatment by the hospital bureaucracy.
@Ashley Beth I believe if you go vegan…you’ll be surprised at the results.
I heard in other countries the doctors DO have time. In the US we have to rely on Dr Berg. I noticed over here doctors are super rushed recently and only have a few minutes for each appointment. It didn’t used to be this way. I tried to discuss symptoms and causes, but the doctor kept interrupting with “are we good?”
@Ashley Beth Fellow Spoonie.If your blood tests come back ok then they throw drugs at you.If they don’t work and you don’t go away and are female they will go down the ‘Depressed woman ‘ line and throw antidepressants at you and tell you you need to see a psychiatrist.You’ll be better off doing your own research.There’s alot of info on YouTube for us Spoonies.We are all in the same boat.Good luck.
You’re so right. Our “health care” system should be called our “sick care” system. There’s nothing healthy about it.
I’m trying to cleanse my liver after years of eating unhealthy foods, including sugar, pasta, bread etc.
I have a lot of the symptoms that you describe in your video’s.
My gp told me I have fatty liver disease and high cholesterol. Instead of advising me to change my diet, he was going to put me on statins. I said no, I’m not taking statins, I will change my diet and see if my results change. Thankfully, I came across Dr Berg’s video about fatty liver disease. I am currently drinking lemon and ginger water every morning and taking milk thistle capsules every day and I’ve completely changed my diet. Thank you Dr Berg. I have learned more on this channel than I ever did at ‘school’.
@Yuri S can not say. My x had a negative/damaging reaction to the drug.
Mine are in the trash.
But my cholesterol is very very high. So that’s not good either.
@PK Johnson
Do a search on what foods help cholesterol and what is not recommended
@Yuri S yes they’re bad
@PolPotsPieHole what’s a GGT?
Lethicin is good for cholesterol
Any bread or pasta is like taking a sleeping pill for me! I cant function and feel so tired. Thanks Dr. Berg. I definitely feel better when I dont eat sugar,pasta, rice and bread.
Me too!
I eat all 4 daily, but my biggest “cheat” is fasting & exercise. I just have to make sure I replenish the stuff that gets depleted as a result.
@Michal Tocimak I love my pizza! I made two homemade ones yesterday, but luckily my boys came over and ate most of them.
Eating Bread definately affects the brain
If this is a symptom for you , check your blood sugar. When mine is high it makes me extremely sleepy.
The only thought…Thank You Doc for putting in the work and relaying the knowledge to us. Can’t even express how grateful. Enjoy your holiday season everyone
Just a thought for you Dr Berg, these are my observations. I m fifty. Grains and sugar are a big part of vegetarian diets. Till 20 years back, digesting them was never an issue. Of course I had health problems but no issues with grains dairy or sugars. Things started changing 20 years back. These foods were suddenly difficult to digest. I thought I had developed auto immune disorders. In the recent past I made changes in the food I was buying. Like, I moved to organic milk, cold pressed oils, and very recently I bought a different type of whole wheat flour. That is when I realised for the first time that this is how the flour was in my earlier years. Then I remembered that nowadays everything is GM, ie, genetically modified. It is this modification that our body kind of rejects. So my conclusion is that let’s do things the way it was done by our ancestors. Right from timings to food combinations and especially farming methods. I think that is where the problem lies and not in all this medical guesswork that all doctors are up-to.
Well one has to eat a lot of some stuff for so long before you start having bad symptoms. The fact you’re fifty may also mean your body had to fight a lot of those ingredients for so many years until it gave up. You’re right on the fact that everything is so GMO.
We cannot compare what even doctors were faced with fifty years ago to what the ones today are challenged with.
@manyBlessings2all You kill more animals in a vegetarian diet then an animal based one. If you want to save as many lives as you can then eat the biggest creature you can. One cow can feed you for weeks. Maybe even months. One crop can also feed you long but many mice, rodents, bugs and other creatures are harmed directly and indirectly due to the change of the landscape and their home. One plot of land can house 1000s of living creatures.
@manyBlessings2all I tend to find those that worry about things like you do are doing it to hide the true evil your guilty of. The fact is the Human is the Apex Predator. We carve the land, we slaughter anything that opposes us, even ourselves. I commend you for trying to be a better human. However, there are many many battles worth fighting for that isn’t food related. The out of war out there, the famine and poverty. If you want to make an impact then perhaps put your energies there.
Avi, It could be that you are right, not sure, but there is evidence that when humans went from hunter/gatherers to farmers, our health went south also. The Egyptians loved their bread and had lots of health problems. I sure don’t eat 5-7 servings a day of grains. Once you grind it, it goes south, so maybe less fresh.
Imagine yourself a hunter/ gatherer walking thru the world. What would you see first.? Nuts. Fruits, sma.l animals, fish, then plants, the things in the ground, tubers etc.
@Alison James I totally agree I used to make my own bread, then I stopped making it and consuming it and I felt so much better it was really incredible at this point, all I eat a raw foods some nuts not many, walnuts almonds and greens I also use moringa powder and Maca powder as an additional supplemental aspect
For me personally, probably the best episode yet, because it just touches on everything at the same time. Thank you Dr Berg, the information you put here on YouTube has helped me to lose more than 50 lbs and literally saved my life. I’m about to start another long term fast tomorrow, a good solid 7 days with only water, green tea, and supplements recommended by you. I’m hoping by the end of the year to drop another 35 lbs and get close to my ideal BMI for the first time in my life since being a little kid. Keep up the good work brother, regardless of blood relation, you’re always a welcome part of my family!
I agree, this one is packed with helpful advice. Good luck !
Thank you Doctor. After I came across your videos I started Intermittent fasting to get rid of my fibroids, and it is really helping. I am still learning the foods I can eat and which ones to avoid. Thank you for your videos in connection with fibroids. Would you be willing to do some more videos for women like myself with the issue of fibroids. I am truly grateful for your channel.
I haven’t seen the video on fibroids, but serrapeptase is supposed to help with that issue.
@David Billyard thank you very much for your comment, I Will look that up. 👍
Dr Berg…. The man who inspired a generation to really understand medicine and to look after their own health… a modern day hero..🙂
It’s a surprise that big pharma don’t want to blaspheme him.
Dr. Berg is saving many lives with his information he gives us. So thankful that Dr. Berg cares to have a channel to tell us how to live healthy, most dr.s simply don’t really care about patients and are just in the medical profession for the 💰.
Yes.. it’s true
Very wise understanding Dr Berg. Memorization, rote learning, imitation and “parroting” are the foundations of modern education in almost every academic field.
Yes. As a graduate of US MD allopathic med school, I agree with your opening reflections. Americans need to take their health back.
Which is why they’re now using climate change as the newest excuse to remove foods we need like meat & eggs. The goal is that everyone is either sick mentally or physically… just look at the people at the grocery store: how they look vs what they buy vs how they think vs what they believe. Klaus Swab & his henchmen want to get rid of most people anyways
Agree very strongly
Thanks for your input.🍀🌱🌿👍👍
Absolutely, Weapons of Mass Instruction, Dumbing Us Down and The End of Education are pertinent books to refer to for more detail.
Thanks for the opening explaination,. I’m sending this to my kids who studied medicine at UNE. Very much appreciated. God bless
This is great! Wish you had a list of the what neutralizes beside the list of the bad stuff, but I took notes! I feel like I’ve been liied to for 35yrs since diagnosed with Type II Diabetes, not just by my doctor, mostly by the American Diabetes Association 😳 Thanks for all you do! Blessings 🥰
Thank you @fidel catsro !
Wow I love this! Thanks for being so honest and not “sugar coating” how the medical field keeps us sick.
No profit in good health 😉
No problem. Glad to share this information.
The medical practioners are only in the medical field for 💰, they rarely care about a person’s health. We are surely blessed to have access to Dr. Berg and his teaching for a healthier lifestyle.
Finding anyone nowadays that is passionate about what they do and therefore good at what they do is very difficult… apply that to medical care and it is very scary… thank you for being honest and not towing the line with health advice… you have been a big part of my 80 pound and counting weight loss and complete change in mindset and elevated happiness. Thank you!!! ✌
Thank you for explaining this. I am 39 years old and just recently cut sugar and soda out. I’m still battling with salty junk food snacks. Thank you for your help! You are adding years to people’s lives, like a true doctor should.
Switch to cheese whisps and pork rinds
My entire life I’ve been told to eat several small meals a day and to carry a candy bar for times I feel I’m going to faint due to low blood sugar. This medical advice has destroyed my health.
Thank You Dr. Berg for this library of healing remedies and natural health alternatives you are recording for the generations to come. I have inundated my adult children with your videos.
That’s more of PUFA and mitochondria damage and other various horrible things seed oils and PUFA does to your health most likely. Sugar is defensive, and it’s good for stress.
Same! Fasting changed my life
Great info as usual…have been taking most of these supplements for over a year now and have gotten off all my diabetes and high blood pressure meds as well as using intermittant fasting and keto to lose a bunch of weight. Quitting sugar is so hard as they hide it in everything. But keep trying and minimize it and you will be happier and healthier!
I tell ya, I think there’s something addictive about carbohydrates (or something else) – from bread in particular. This is based on my experience. Having changed my diet and avoiding breads as much as I can then “treating” myself to donuts (the first time) and a chicken biscuit from a fast food joint (the second time) I found myself with very strong cravings for more. Before I realized what was happening the first time I was telling myself, “screw it, I’m gonna do it” and would give in. Next thing I knew I found a few pounds that I had previously lost!
