Great video!
Thanks!
I go for my 90 min walk in winter from between 8am and 12pm. Typically 9am-11am(sunlight) the Shoreline is still dark and wind chill.
Nice one
@Siim Land this time is during the last 4hrs of my 18hr fast only Monday-Thursday, weekends i work Massage 💆♀️Therapist for the past 22 yrs, i have lost 40lbs since Jan 2022.
It appears to me that it is best to exercise in the morning and evening, perhaps dividing sessions throughout the day
“The study concluded that the time of day the subjects exercised “may be important to optimize individual exercise-induced health and performance outcomes in physically active individuals and may be independent of macronutrient intake.”
“Morning exercise in women enhances total and abdominal fat loss, reduces blood pressure, and increases lower body muscle power,” the study said. “Evening exercise greatly increases upper body muscle strength, power, and endurance, and enhances overall mood.”
“For men, strength increased after both morning and evening exercise, but evening exercise brought additional benefits with “lower systolic blood pressure and fatigue and stimulates fat oxidation compared to early morning exercise.”
The Optimal Time of Day for Exercise Might be Different for Men and Women

Nice
The best time for the big meal of the day is also around from 9am to 10 am. Coincidence?
Perhaps
Not for everyone kicking in your sleeping nervous system with abig meal first thing in the morning makes no logical sense to me at all ,
Thank you for this valuable information
Glad it was helpful!
Siim Land, was that you doing pull-ups featured around the timestamp 3:14 in the video? Quite impressive if it is you.
Yes its me
I got adrenal fatigue stage 3 – low cortisol during the day. I go to the gym in fasting state for the benefits of fasting. I take my breakfast around 9:30.
it might have correlation with people who exercise later weren’t reportedly morning chronotype? so it might be not exercise but the chronotype being the main factor
Damn. I’ve been working out heavily every night around 8-9PM. In the morning I feel like my workouts are weaker. Thanks for the video, I’m going to push myself for morning workouts.
it is stupid. dont change it. It’s just a study done on strokes. Its not coming from God, nor is it written in gold. Working out 8-9 pm is great bc your body temperature is warmer than in the morning, thus lower probability in muslce injury.
The biggest risk for me working out in the evening is that I won’t actually do it!
That’s an issue yes
I always work out in the morning and fasted. Just have more energy that way.
Great
Great vid. I’ve always felt better exercising in the morning, about an hour after I wake up.
Thanks
For men the path to a long life is a 20 percent caloric deficit and keep moving.
And avoid anything associated with Monsanto.
Nice
I dont think you can actually make that type of claims with this data.
And then in a couple of years we will hear the opposite. Having a higher risk of stroke by being active did not make sense untill last couple of years. Sounds like absolute bs.
Not sure if this is accurate but I’m putting it out there because of this presentation, I learned that we did mainly cardio with minor resistance from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. then we did resistance with mild cardio between 3:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. an example of this is running 3 mi in 18 or less minutes in the morning, jumping rope for 20 minutes, so I mean a mile for 18 minutes, etc whereas in the evening I was pushing weights, pushing a car down the block and then pulling it back, etc
I would have bet the inverse as in morning you will work also with high cortisol levels and spiking them more.
How much collagen, gelatin and bone broth do you take in addition to 10 grams of glycine daily?
But what if you exercise BOTH in the morning and evening? Is it because exercising in the morning is uniquely beneficial, or is it because evening exercise is detrimental?
