Today we’re going to talk about how to rid xanthomas naturally.
A xanthoma is a build-up of cholesterol and triglycerides that shows up as a yellowish-white deposit on the skin.
Xanthomas are associated with:
• Hereditary lipid disorders
• Biliary tract obstruction
• Primary biliary cirrhosis
• Cholestasis
• High A1C
• Diabetes
• High LDL, cholesterol, and triglycerides
Xanthomas are like an indicator light letting you know you have high cholesterol, LDL, and triglycerides.
Many people think that if they have high cholesterol or triglycerides, they must be consuming too much cholesterol, fat, or triglycerides.
But that’s not always the case. Certain health conditions and high-carb diets can lead to these issues.
How to get rid of xanthomas naturally:
1. Take niacin
2. Take choline
3. Take TUDCA
4. Consume large salads with walnuts, garlic, and extra-virgin olive oil
5. Exercise
6. Consume fish high in omega-3
7. Take red yeast rice extract
8. Do the keto diet with less fat
9. Start doing intermittent fasting

What about dark eyelids? Could you talk about that Dr.Berg?
The animation at the beginning I watched several times….too cool! Our skin is like an entirely new planet still waiting to be discovered.

Awesome, thank you! I have those small spots above my eyelids. I started doing keto and IF about a month ago. I eat a big bowl of salad almost everyday with some olive oil, salmon or tuna and I often add beans (I have heard beans help to lower cholesterol as well). Not much has happened yet but just recently I started to lose a little bit of weight so I think it’s working. Now I will add those things you mentioned in this video.
Eating out of cans salad bad deals people with diabetes salt extra virgin olive, oil apple cider vinegar with ester.spinach no good cause kidney stones
This is extremely kind generous thoughtful grateful of you +sincere Might God bless you yours faithfully in abundance with brilliant blessings 🕯️✳️🕊️✳️🌞✳️🌞✳️🌞✳️🙏
Ditch the beans if you want to lose weight. Replace with cheese and olives .
@Em H Exactly… beans are pure carbs . Ditch the beans .
@Em H ok so why do beens contribute to weight gain then?
The yellowing is caused from coffee cholesterol is known as eye burgers
Thanks Dr.Berg I’ve Honed on this one
Very interesting info as always… Noted! Going to the Niacin video… because no matter how much I know I ALWAYS learn new info from you Dr Berg! I shared your channel last night in a live stream with one of my co-hosts…. got a lot of good responses… expect new subs! 🙂
I don’t have Xanthomas but I watch every Berg video religiously. As usual, his recommendations are not new for him, but an EXCELLENT compilation of things I need review. I have familial hypercholesterolemia persistent in spite of going low carb keto and IF 16/8 several yrs ago. I will now try Niacin, TUDCA and Choline 🙂 I also need to reduce my butter consumption lol.
Thank you for sharing your wisdom in ways anyone can understand! Always a pleasure to click on your videos and learn!👏🏻🙌🏻
Thanks for watching!
I have hereditary high cholesterol and it was over 400 last time I had it tested. I started doing low carb a few weeks ago and that always makes it go up, but my usual is still high in the mid 300 range. I can’t do the niacin, but I wonder if I should try the red yeast rice. Does it have the same side effects as statins?
I found Berberine really lowers blood sugars . It’s a good supplement to replace the drug metformin that also lowers blood sugars..
Red yeast rice is too . 👌🏻
I’m always excited to watch your videos Dr Berg. I’ve learned so much from you, I can never thank you enough! ❤
My question this time, is it safe for me to take niacin with my liver disease? I have primary biliary chirrohis.
We can’t find any information on this but thanks for the video suggestion.
Dr. Berg’s Support Team.
I got my ugly xanthoma on my eye overnight when I started keto, because I didn’t realize that I needed to gradually ease into a high fat diet and take bile salts. Now I’m screwed. Thank you for explaining all this, Dr Berg!
I’ve got one too. Put concealer on it everyday. Dr Berg didn’t say how to make them go away did he?
Same here, got mine when started keto, due to a slugish bile. Now is better with my bile, but have this xanthoma.
@Dale – yes he did. Among other things, Dr. Berg said to take niacin.
@Jine Martinez I took notes and I will try anything!
Dr. Berg, would you please create a few videos for the younger audience to help children understand and make healthy foods choices for their growing bodies? You speak so calmly and efficiently with colorful photos and bulleting key points…perfect for children to follow. Thank you!
What a wonderful idea 🙂 let’s hope his team sees this
I really like your advice Doctor Berg I have the problem that you mentioned . I believe your videos are more helpful than going to our family Doctor. 🙏 thank you Doctor Berg!
Thank you for your video. I know I have a tendency to have higher cholesterol. It occurred to me that I have small number of tiny bumps on my scalp, forehead and can feel many of them on my neck too. They may not be xanthomas as they are not yellow but might be lipomas. Wondering if your remedies might help with lipomas. I am using tudca and marmite for vit B. Have to wait and see. Online searches always pointed to psoriasis but I don’t think so, in my case. Psoriasis remedies did nothing. Your video tipped me to search for lipoma and it says – A lipoma, which feels doughy and usually isn’t tender, moves readily with slight finger pressure. That’s exactly how it feels like.
Can syringnomas be treated the same as xanthomas? Thanks for any info regarding syringnomas
Can you do a video on the niacin/ flush and how to ease the major side effect of massive burn, not just redness, as well as the terrible itching sensations…or does your system get used to those effects and eventually settle? I really would like to lower my LDL/triglycerides with this supplement besides diet changes, but my side effects were huge. Thanks…
