Today we’re going to talk about what causes kidney stones.

It’s odd that kidney stones even form in the first place, but calcification can occur in many parts of the body.

97.2% of the people with kidney stones in a certain study also had tiny bacteria (nanobacteria) in the kidney stones.

These nanobacteria eat calcium and form bone-like crystal structures—a type of calcium that’s in bone. They’ve also found nanobacteria in calcium deposits in other parts of the body.

The problem is that the immune system has a difficult time detecting nanobacteria because they protect themselves with biofilms. But, the immune system will detect a problem and will trigger an immune response. An immune response can create a lot of inflammation, leading to complications.

Before using any natural remedies to break up biofilms, take TUDCA and have activated charcoal on hand.

How to help prevent kidney stones:
1. Drink 2.5 liters of fluid per day
2. Take calcium citrate and consume lemons
3. Take potassium citrate
4. Take garlic
5. Get on Healthy Keto® and do intermittent fasting
6. Decrease stress on yourself and your microbiome

  1. I’ve had two of those bad boys! Talk about ‘Misery dipped in sheet’ painful as hell! Have had many docs tell me they are more painful than giving birth. Someone sent me a balloon that said “Congrats, it’s a stone!”

  2. Merry Christmas doctor; ever since finding your keto videos, I went from 90kg to now 74 kg in just five months! In addition to avoiding sugars, carbs of all kinds and just eating breakfast and dinner skipping lunch, I would walk at least 5km a day. I put on the weight due to anti depressants and used to be 63kg and thought I would never get back to my normal self, but I’m half way there so thanks very much

  3. Kidney stones were a part of my childhood. Three episodes before I was 14. Now, we have well water and have always used a distiller to clean it for drinking. It looks clean running from faucets but calcium eventually cakes to the faucets as well as the bottom of the distiller after about a week of constant use. We use CITRIC ACID crystals weekly to clean the distiller. The hard rocky yellow calcium collects on the bottom and we wipe it out with multiple paper towels. It’s disgusting and I can’t imagine putting it into my body. Thanks for this one

    • Well water is not healthier as most people think…it’s just as bad as tape…good luck to you…Merry Christmas…stay safe and warm….

  4. Dr. Berg’s timing nails it again! I passed my first stone at age 17. Passed two more, later on. I believe there’s another one on the way and I used to believe it was from drinking sodas (not just sugary but sugar-free ones, too). What helped me pass them, I believe, was strong cranberry juice & lemon juice (both with enough water), beet juice, and asparagus water. (The beet juice, however, might have too much sugar but it was available.) Raw garlic does help, too — and avoiding junk food. That aside… I hope everyone reading this has a happy and healthy Christmas & a wonderful New Year. Thank you for so many helpful and awesome videos, Dr. Berg.

  5. I’ve had more than 20. I also have arthritis degenerative disc disorder and fibromyalgia. I’ve lost all my teeth. Among many other health problems. So this makes sense to me.

  6. I’m really glad you’re going down this path Dr Berg. I’ve done the same months back and was called a loon. I’m sure you know, the idea of nanobacteria existing at all, this is shunned and now classified by mainstream medical “experts” as bogus, but I definitely think there’s something to it. Please keep digging deeper and deeper and expanding more and more on nanobacteria and calcium.

ALSO, at first I thought you were going to say the one thing people always overlook in calcium based diseases is OXALATES, or oxalic acid. In my opinion, oxalates are the #1 most overlokoed thing in calcium based diseases, at least which is provable and you wont be called a loon for discussing it. If you are not familiar with this yet, I highly consider checking out the relationship between ALL calcium based diseases and oxalates/oxalic acid. There is a balance that needs to be had here, and in fact, oxalates almost certainly play a major role in nano-bacterial diseases as well. Thanks doc, looking forward to seeing your response to this.

    • I think Dr. Berg already mention oxolates in his other kidney stones video. Hence in this new one, he focus on nano bacteria.

    • @syckle33 he missed the big points about oxalates. He needs to dive a bit deeper yet. He’s a smart guy, I’m not going to tell him what or how to think. I want him to dive deeper and give me his opinion on it again. There’s a lot more to the story.

    • @PhyZyy he’s already talked about oxylates, which are ok to consume provided you have good strong digestion

  7. Fasting is the healthiest thing you can do. When your body thinks it’s starving all it’s healing powers are stimulated.

  8. Thank you Dr Berg!! You touched on a problem that I’ve been having for 2 years now…crystal formation .. apatite and struvite.. thank you for helping develop a plan for us!! Much Love and Gratitude your way!!! This video.. 🙂 i take like a Christmas present!!! A new year’s present !! Cheers!!!

  9. Amazing information! I have had 4 kidney stones in the past 15 years. The last one in Dec 2019 was 1.2 cm and had to be extracted. Thankful that it was taken out instead of being pulverized after hearing about the infection risk. I was also a competitive weight lifter in my younger days and now have joint osteophytes and osteo arthritis. It all seems to be linked. Dr. Berg has given us 1000x more information than the ” medical profession “.

    • Yes!!! He has!!! He’s a blessing from this universe!! Shame on you reg doctors!!! Look up to Dr Berg… but im telling you…they are drowning in work demand… i cry for the medical system…

    • Maybe his videos will encourage the medical profession to take a critical look at itself? I’m trying to be hopeful. Maybe the astute ones will watch his videos and make serious changes to their practices.

  10. Recently, I went through gout, Arthritis type symptoms that attacked my left, big, toe joints. I started taking a cherry juice capsule and reducing red meat intake. I didn’t notice much change. The pain was debilitating. I bought a uric acid flush and also started apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, baking soda, honey, water drink two times daily. I noticed horribly foul smelling bowel movements and a sudden improvement in joint pain reduction. My urine went from a dark, foaming to a clear and no foam.

  11. AMAZING discovery, thank you for sharing about nano bacteria, Dr. Berg ❤️ Such an important issue!

  12. I have had 7 kidney stones in the last 2 weeks and probably pass 20 or more each year. Luckily the stones I get are very small, smooth, and round, compared to the more crystal-like stones which are way more painful to pass. I started getting stones at the EXACT same time as I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Every doctor I’ve been to has said there is no connection but I find that hard to believe.

    • Your blood sugar has to stay under control for sure. Also look up oxalates in food. There’s no point in giving your body the stuff to make kidney stones.

  13. My wild guess is that calcification is due to nerve leakage resulting from high homocysteine.
calcium in the middle of nerves.
Losing fat may also add to nerve leakage.

  14. Excellent informative video. Another prevention I would suggest is taking K2 to make sure the calcium gets deposited in the right place (bones)…..

  15. You never cease to amaze me with your new angle on our health related issues. Although I don’t have a kidney stone problem, but this video really hit home by addressing all the related symptoms. Thank you for another awesome video!
