Today we’re going to talk about how consuming apple cider vinegar can give you an energy boost. If you’re tired all of the time or lack energy, this one is for you.

Apple cider vinegar can help support the body in a myriad of ways. Here are a few of the top benefits of apple cider vinegar:
• It supports digestion (it may help with bloating, indigestion, GERD, and acid reflux)
• It supports healthy blood sugar (it can help with insulin resistance and the dawn phenomenon)
• It supports a healthy liver
• It supports weight loss
• It supports the cardiovascular system and healthy blood pressure
• It can help inhibit the formation of oxalate crystals

It turns out that apple cider vinegar also supports energy. Apple cider vinegar is basically acetic acid, which can be absorbed by most of your tissues as fuel.

If you’re on keto and fasting but lack energy, consuming apple cider vinegar is a great way to feel more energetic. On top of increased energy, you’re getting all the tremendous health benefits of apple cider vinegar.

How to boost your energy levels using apple cider vinegar:
Add one to two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to a 16-ounce glass of water, and drink the mixture once a day. You can also add lemon and electrolyte powder for added benefits, but that’s optional.

  1. I put two tablespoons of ACV with juice of one fresh lemon in the morning to neutralize the “dawn effect “. In addition put some cayenne pepper to stimulate your metabolism.

  2. Hello Dr. Berg and Team,
could you please post the links to additional videos you recommend at the end of your videos in the video description.
Not all YouTube-Players show these recommendations. So probably not a small amount of your viewers miss out that information.
    Thank you!

    • They are cluttered with confusion. First its bad for you, then its good for you, than its bad for you, then its good for you, then its bad for you, then its good for you, then its bad for you…….and on, and on, and on……..

    • Blimey! I never thought ACV was THAT important! I’m off to get some right now before I keel over….🥴

  3. I drink water w/ACV, lemon, scoop of your electrolyte powder everyday Dr. Berg! It gives me great energy and keeps me hydrated. Love ya! 🍋❤🌅

    • @Gert T I believe it was oxalate crystal concentration in the urine. Not a blood test. There may be other tests.

    • Calcium oxalate stones are the most common type of kidney stone. Kidney stones are solid masses that form in the kidneys when there are high levels of calcium, oxalate, cystine or phosphate and too little fluid. There are different types of kidney stones. Your urologist can test your stones to find the type you have. Calcium oxalate stones are caused by too much oxalate in the urine

    • @I’m happy and we get too much calcium when we take D3 without K2. Any connection or is it me overthinking?

  4. I’ve actually tested this myself a few times and I always feel more energetic when I’ve had ACV the day before

  5. When I first started keto I was religiously putting ACV and lemon in my Dr Berg electrolyte drink everyday. My brain felt like a supercomputer. I could literally feel every muscle in my body move. I had incredible energy. It was an amazing feeling and I haven’t been able to get back to that feeling. I thought I had developed a “tolerance” to keto. 😂 I will have to add the ACV back in and report back, for science. 😊

  6. Doc your chem, med, and bio wisdom are so synergistic, your a Godsend! Blessings to all you do and success!

  7. I noticed a long time ago whenever I ate salad with a vinegar-based dressing that I would always feel energetic afterward…I thought it was due to just the veggies in the salad alone…Now I know what it really was. 🤗

  8. We have another brand of pure ACV in Canada. It’s called Nonna Pia’s, Organic with the Mother. I found it when buying my first ACV for health, a few months ago. It has lots of particles and cloudy when shook. Also, I find it delicious with lemon and the water. It was less expensive than Bragg’s, too. Thanks for another great lesson in health, Dr. Berg.

  9. Looking forward to Dr berg live show, it’s snowing here in Michigan so I’m staying in today and binge watch health videos , I’m addicted to health . Thanks Dr berg 😊

  10. Hey Dr. Berg, thanks for the great video!
I have really bad mucus from Long Covid since 6 months and would LOVE if you could do a video about what helps with that. Tried everything including salt water rinses and nothing helps!

  11. 100% correct. My breakfast is 2 tbs of apple cider vinegar, 2 tbs olive oil, and 2 tbs of MCT oil in a 16 oz glass of water, with a cup of black coffee. I get my lemon in my green tea at dinner. That apple cider vinegar makes all the difference.

  12. Great video Dr. Berg! I have to say that when I started Keto a couple months ago, (I’m down 49 lbs) I was adding ACV to my tea in the morning and I was feeling great. After a couple weeks of keto I stopped adding to tea and switched to ACV supplement pills. Since then I’m not seeing or feeling the positive effects. I’m going to switch back to the liquid and see how it goes. After watching this video, I’m betting I’ll start seeing a positive difference. 👍

  13. It sure makes sense. I’m in my 50s. When I was a child and even up until maybe my early twenties, I was addicted to vinegar. It was very common for me to take a sip here and there. I would eat salad with just vinegar and oil. I really craved vinegar a lot. And back then, I couldn’t gain weight to save my life. I could eat whatever I wanted. Of course age and metabolism play a role. I don’t expect apple cider vinegar to restore me to those days. But I have to think that there is a direct correlation. I don’t consume vinegar anywhere near like I used to. I don’t even crave it like I used to. Thank you for this video. I guess I’m going to start doing shots of vinegar again.
