    As a partially disabled 69 year old – I was recently diagnosed with ‘Osteophytes’ in the lower spine.
    I’ve had a history of multiple bone fractures in my limbs & spine – so to some extent these are a by-product
    However – as you point out – regardless of such traumas – there are steps I can take to help reduce my bone spurs.👍😎

I missed out on calling you on WhatsApp about my Thyroid Cancer and what you could recommend to help with the ongoing side affects of not having a thyroid gland any more? Or if you could recommend any videos you may already done on Thyroid cancer and or how to live a better quality of life, as much as I try, and do what I’m told by my mainstream Drs, I know I can’t stop taking my Thyroxine medication, I’m just hoping you may have some hints that might make a difference to my life.   4. To help avoid kidney stones I have taken the vegetarian Chanca Piedra (Stone breaker) as a food supplement from time to time.

    • I just found out about that and I bought it for my mom whose dealing with a kidney stone right now, but she’s afraid to take it because of any side effects it might cause. I’m hoping she’ll try it out so she won’t need to get a procedure done to take it out

  5. Just another reason to take Vitamin K2 on a daily basis! Putting a water filter on your tap or drinking spring water will also help with the extra calcium you could be absorbing through your water intake.

    • @Dr. Eric Berg DC I drink distilled water, but get all my nutrition from my food. Since it seems most folks have excess calcium via gall stones, kidney stones, hardening of arteries, can we safely say that distilled water acts as a solvent and may take away some excess calcium in the body?

  7. Thank you, Dr berg! These are my problems, spurs ect. Few weeks back I ended up in the hospital bec’ my blood pressure was so high. I have been having some weird twitching on my left cheek, gum swollen slightly, the ENT said there is a small Calcium deposit and all I can do is drink alot of water. My first thought was to avoid food that are high with calcium buy my blood test shows that my calcium level is not high. I am so confused and worried, as my Dentist said he see a black patch under the chin on the X Ray but the ENT said no such thing seeing from scanning. Due to all these stress or not sure what, why, my tinnitus is so much worst, having pressure on my eyes and ears. But luckily my blood pressure is much better now. Will check out your K2 video, thank you.

  8. Great information! Would you consider doing a video on whether there’s any merit in eating apricot seeds/kernels for overall health and anti-cancer properties? I’ve heard contradicting info on this so would love to hear your take on it!

    • Make sure they’ve not been pasteurised and check with a geiger counter if they contain any cesium 137 from Chernobyl.
      And don’t worry about the so-called ‘cyanide’ content because it’s bound. Chew to a pulp with fresh water and take about five to ten a day. And finally, yep! They are good for you. Don’t forget to eat the apricots too. They taste better, lol! 👍😊

  9. Thank you Dr Berg for mentioning the Parathyroid gland causing hyper-calcium levels. I’ve had high calcium levels for years and as you get older the need for your body to use calcium goes down. Usually in most case the cause of high excessive levels of calcium in one’s blood is due to a small tumor on one of the Parathyroid glands like you mentioned which causes the gland to suck calcium from the bones unnecessarily. I have a feeling that I have a tumor on one of my glands.

    For instance a male, age 35 and up their calcium levels should only be 10.1 down into the 9.5 ranges. Well my calcium levels have always been anywhere from 10.4-10.9 well into my 30’s which isn’t normal.

    The effects of high calcium is extreme tiredness, fatigue, brain fog, memory problems and eventually clogging of the arteries.

    It’s very dangerous long term to have constant high levels of calcium in your blood. Even if your PTH levels (Parathyroid hormone) is normal, you can still have a tumor on one of the parathyroid glands but most doctors simply ignore this and will tell you “nothing is wrong your PTH levels are fine”.

    The Norman Parathyroid clinic on their website talks about this extensively. The only way to cure hyper calcium levels in the blood is to remove the tumor in one or more of the parathyroid glands.

    • A REAFFIRMATION for the regular usage/intake of ‘apple cider vinegar’ !!!! Such greatly reduced the ‘tarter’ buildup on my teeth …. but one must be very careful to not dissolve the tooth enamel. …… dilution of the ACV with LOTS of water – “dilution is the solution”.

  10. I had spine surgery in 2005 to “correct” my “idiopathic” scoliosis and have bone spurs on my spine at L4 and L5. It’s very painful because they touch the bottom on my Harrington rods.

    This video perfectly explains why the bone spurs may have developed.

  13. I really love you videos and have been watching like crazy. Your information is very helpful and I like the video format.

    One thing is you recommend almost every video is D3. I have tried to take this several times but every time without exception I get severe joint pains. I have had “arthritis” flare smany many times over my 63 years starting in my teens so I have always tried to figure out what was triggering it (diet wise).
    I am carnivore now and that is the absolute best Way Of Nutrition (WON) for me.
    Also intermittent fasting is amazing.
    I have tried vitamin K with D3 and it was no help.
    I get lots of sun in the summertime and store it up for the winter. Plus I eat tons of eggs from our own pasture, chickens and lots of animal fat.
    I would like to see you, emphasizing more beef, lamb and pork fat as a good source of that.

  14. Hey Dr. Berg! It’s me again the type 1 diabetic that is slowly but surely getting better things happening because of your videos. I have been a lot more focused on ingredients, nutrients and vitamins now. It has made a huge change in my overall blood glucose.
    However, I spoke with my stepfather who is a top awarded trauma doctor in my state and we spoke the other night of kidney stones and certain ingredients. One that came up was citric acid. I have tried finding videos in relation to citric acid and how it affects the body with very little luck. Would you happen to know a great resource I can use to find studies on citric acid and how it affects the body?

  16. Looks like I have a couple of things to try. I would have mentioned salt in helping regulate body pH. Salt is part of making stomach acid and sodium bicarbonate as well as moving water around.

  18. Been dealing with consistent spurs on my spine and kidney stones. The spurs are on my thoracic section which is immobile compared to the other 2. Since I have made lifestyle changes recommended I have notice significant improvement in my overall health. No more stones and significant reduction in inflammation in my spine. So grateful for all this info.
