  2. This lines up with testimonies of people who only eat 4 days a week and loose weight and keep it off. I’m going to do this too loose weight, I’m convinced.

  3. I don’t like this test, not really apples to apples. Omad were at 30% energy requirements while CR were at 70%, so obviously eating less has benefits regardless of omad, so we don’t know how much of this is due to omad

  4. It’s good to see more confirmations on omad, I’d like to see it separate from the caloric restriction

  5. PLEASE stop using the star wars “do it.” It’s driving me up the wall 😉 I don’t believe your YouTube requires the sound effects, some do for their market. 

    Interesting study, drawbacks such as elevated cortisol tissue exposure, decrease in sex hormones, increase in visceral fat, and based on dexa less than desirable outcomes on muscle, fat ratio rather than looking at crude measurements.

  6. What about maximizing MPS? I thought it’s better to spread your protein among 3 or 4 meals (making sure to get enough leucine in each meal) if you’re trying to build muscle.

  7. it does not look natural unless one eats rubbish (most of us do), so OMAD simply minimizes the amount of junk in the body, but gives the digestive system a consistent overload since the OMAD portions are massive. Centenarians eat 2-4 times a day, why not study their life style for longevity?

    • Because it’s mostly genetics, not lifestyle related. Actually, some of the longest lived verified human beings had trash diets, never fasted, smoked and drank alcohol. Would they have lived even longer with all the right habits? Who really knows. But I seriously doubt it, maybe a little increased life quality. The cap seems around age 120, naturally. No matter what you do. Still, one in a billion chance.

      For the average Joe with trash genes and not being a petite female. All Siim’s advice is pretty good for longer health and lifespan. But we probably need much stronger and better things to carry us to centenarian status. Science and technology is not quite there yet.

  8. I fast twice a week for 24hrs. Sometimes one day a week, I’ll do 36-but I found OMAD too difficult to do.

    • I found OMAD pretty difficult as well i land on 2 meals or about 1 1/2 but within the 6 hour window. I really need to do at least one 24hr. I understand snacking is really detrimental. ✌🏼
