Let’s talk about one of the best remedies for eczema, also known as dermatitis or atopic dermatitis.

This is a skin condition where you have extreme dryness and sometimes a red rash or itchiness.

Typical eczema treatments, like steroids, have potential side effects. So, we want to focus on natural alternatives for eczema.

This condition could be due to a deficiency of essential fatty acids caused by a poor diet or a genetic problem.

The #1 remedy for eczema:
• Black currant seed oil (GLA)

What to do:
1. Take five drops of black currant seed oil and rub it in your hands to warm it up. Then apply it to the affected area.

2. Take a black currant seed oil supplement or a few drops with water orally.

  1. Your videos are always perfectly timed. I have a dry skin on my face and one patch on my chin that is peeling. Thank you so much!

  2. I had this a while ago, due to a cold snap at that time, and I tried first tamanu oil, which has improved it a lot but didn’t heal it completely, until I bought Dr Berg’s D3 & K2 supplement. Honest to God: it was completely gone in 3 days. We honestly can’t thank you enough for helping us with every health issue, and updating us with info all the time 😊

    • @Anonymous you mean tamanu oil?! It smells a bit like grass in mud, yes at that time I used to apply it at night only , but if you’re going outside during the day time, you can apply it on the affected hand and wear gloves.

    • Thank you so much for your videos! I had a misfortune, I was diagnosed with cancer. I also created a channel and am trying to move in that direction, but so far not very successful((r

    • I wonder if Dr. Berg appreciates you sabotaging the algorithms for how many people have watched his video. I don’t appreciate it.

    • @Linda Sue Im sure Dr Berg doesnt mind at all, he knows it is benefitting thousands of readers for years to come, its a long term legacy and i want to be part of this, ..
      Viva Health Revolucion! 🐱👍🏿

    • Thanks to Dr Berg for the video, interesting to see alternative ways to treat eczema however anyone interested in how to treat eczema using conventional medicine should check out my most recent video on eczema

  4. It comes from leaky gut!
I had to take heavy antibiotics when I was 12, and at 16/15 I got eczema… and my dermatologist looked at my history and said “oh yeah you had staph infection very common to have eczema afterwards, almost 100% likely!”

  5. Thank you for your tremendous dedication, hard work and effort you put into all your videos. You don’t realise how you much you help people all over the world Dr Berg. I truly admire your work ethic, your honesty and great understanding . Thank you for sharing your knowledge, it’s really appreciated ❤. I just wanted to ask, what would you recommend for one who suffers with salicylate sensitivity? I’ve almost given up on life at this rate, I can barely eat anything 😢

    • @lombmusic07 thank you I’ve always been plant based, only have fish now and again, so it’s so hard to adjusting to life without fruits & veg. Most days I feel like I can’t even eat anything it’s so depressing. Or I’m so scared to have anything or I might have a bad reaction or flare up. This leaky gut is no fun.

    • Thank you so much for your videos! I had a misfortune, I was diagnosed with cancer. I also created a channel and am trying to move in that direction, but so far not very successful((r

    • @Fozia Ar I would recommend listening to Dr. Chaffee on YT. He only recommends a carnivore diet. I know you said you’re plant based, but maybe this is the problem according to Dr. Chaffee. Best wishes to you and never give up

  6. I had it in my hands, refused to keep with the cortisone and started applying aloe pure bio gel every hour. And gradually the eczema disappeared 👍
And now I always wear gloves when dealing with cleaning products, my fault!!!
But I will keep this video in my favorites list 🤪
    Thank you Dr Berg!!!😊

  7. I currently have psoriasis all over. I’ve been trying to fast and sit in the sun. It’s working a little but, I’ll try this oil Dr. Berg, thank you ❤

    • May I recommend listening to Dr. Chaffee on YT. He discusses the carnivore diet and how it helps with the skin condition that you have. I read the comments and there’s thousands of testimonials on how their skin cleared up after going carnivore. Best of luck

    • Suffering psoriasis for severals years, tried tabs like methotrexate, daivobet gel and enstilar spray without a longterm success. Luckily a barber saw my illness when cutting my hair and recommend me a skin specialist, who gave me biological injection (Amgevita 40mg).
Now 4 months later, i dont suffer for skin flakes anymore, only some light red spots left, and for the first time in many years i could feel confident wearing shorts at hot places.

  8. Good Morning, Dr. Berg 🌞
I sure do appreciate you !
Thank you so much for sharing this Interesting information with everyone ! God richly bless you 🙏

  9. Many members of my family have a salicylate allergy. From aspirin to food. Symptoms range from projectile vomiting to severe eczema. The eczema flair ups are related to high and accumulative salicylate load. This is something else to try…

  10. Not too sure if this will help anyone but I was having eczema for the past 15 years, had it over my arms and neck, cured myself for free and within one week. That was about a year ago and am still free of eczema. What I did was fasting for 3 days. None of the doctors I was seeing told me about it. I did my own research.

  11. Thanks Dr. Berg! I’ve suffered with eczema since I was a teenager, I’m going to try this right away. I’m having a particularly bad outbreak of eczema right now, I will post an update in the comments and let you know how this works.

  12. I’ve had this since I was young. It started when I pierced my own ears and wore earring that weren’t gold, I was 14 so not the best decision making. In my 20s it was all over my left hand and fingers. Went to doctors and they were useless so I suffered with this for years. One day I got it in my mind to try the stuff you use on athletes foot. This killed it and I never had it on my hands again. I still use it when I get a stubborn spot. It is like little water blisters.

  13. I’ve had some circular eczemas around my body lately (they usually appear after a mosquito bite) and I was looking for something to heal it, right now! You seem to put out valuable and life-saving videos on time Dr. Berg! Thank you so much!

    • You sure it’s not tinea aka dermatophytosis commonly called ringworm (it’s NOT a worm!😊)? The thing about them is that they are round.

    • @Linda Sue I had circular eczema years ago. Having had ringworm before I thought that was what it was. Went to a derm and he scraped it and dx circular eczema

  14. This Doctor needs to be cloned and put into EVERY medical school to re-educate doctors with correct information about HEALTH. He is brilliant, and a gem of a person to anyone with common sense about how to improve their health in a sustained way.
I just love learning from his simple to understand videos … I respect this man immensely. 👍👍👍

  15. I have suffered from eczema since birth. My children, mother, and grandmother all grew out of it, but 43 years and I still have it. Nothing I’ve done have help and I’m horribly allergic to everything, skin wise. Hopefully this will help!

  16. Perfect timing. Saw a dermatologist yesterday for some issues I’m having with my skin and turns out I have eczema. And yes, a steroid cream was part of the suggest cream. I’m always very hesitant to take anything with that or any meds for that matter. I would rather try something more natural so I’m going to try your suggestions first. Thank you!

  17. Thank you doct.
Finally you cover this topic. Im a person with so many health issues from anxiety, asthma to skin problem like eczema, redness, severe psoriasis on scalp, etc.

  18. Dr. Berg. Thank you for continually researching remedies to these common and serious ailments we all face. You are a national treasure, and I agree with other commenters that we need more of you out there. Hopefully one day you may look into a remedy for PMLE outside of a light box.
