Today we’re going to talk about the difference between hormone therapy and glandular therapy. Another name for glandular therapy is organotherapy.

Organotherapy uses organ extracts from animals. Hormone therapy uses synthetic versions of isolated hormones.

Hormonal therapy has a myriad of potential complications and side effects.

Glandular therapy supports the endocrine system as a whole. When you take a glandular supplement, you’re getting:
• Nutrients
• Growth factors
• Proteins
• Amino acids
• Peptides
• Cofactors
• Minerals
• Enzymes

If you’re suffering from an endocrine problem, talk to your doctor about glandular extracts.

  1. Thanks so much Dr Berg for an amazing video. But the only treatment available for the endocrine is either the synthetic one or the bio -similar one . Can you throw some light where glandular treatment is available in the US or in Europe?

    • I ordered desiccated bovine thyroid from Swanson for my thyroid. I couldn’t tolerate Armour. My endocrinologist said my levels are spot on now!

    • I live in Germany, and it’s almost impossible, and can’t find a source for natural, dessicated thyroid. Only synthetic T4, or T3…..

    • Amazon has several glandular products. Just put it in search. I just bought a broad spectrum of glandulars in one, and since I have adrenal deficiency I made sure that the product also includes adrenal glandular. Not all do.

  2. Dear Dr. Berg, thank you so much for this video! Could you make a video on DHEA for anti-aging for folks starting in their mid to late thirties? Thank you so much for all that you do!

  3. Regardless that I’m not on any therapy, the video is full of intense information. Thanks for the daily knowledge Dr Berg 🌸

  4. ❤thank YOU for educating us and leading us to the right resources ❤️

    You ARE awesome. 😊

  5. My endocrine system was almost completely shut down and my testosterone was only 50ng/dl, which is extremely low for someone in the late twenties. Their “medicines” and hormones did nothing but exacerbate the problem. Everything started working again when I addressed the vitamin and minerals deficiencies.

Going to the doctor nowadays is akin to going to the mechanic and he knows very little about cars but knows ALL the marketing crap to try and upsell you on the best blinker fluid on the market. 🤡

    • @Dakoder II  okay thanks because my T’s and my b12 have been very low for years and iv started Injectable t and b about 6 months ago but if I Can do it with zinc and Tauren that would be great , I’m going to look into it and if you think of anything else please let me know, thanks for your help 😊.

    • @TemporarySETback  iv wondered if mine has always been out of wack because I didn’t mature like most of my friends did and I’ve never had to shave that much and when I do it’s only a little on my chin , it’s like I seemed stronger than my Friends but at that certain age they started getting stronger faster and I seemed to very very slowly mature but not like most , so I wonder if it’s always been faulty.

    • @White Oak same here, i can’t grow full beard, only mustache and little bit beneath my lips, my hands and legs r always skinny as a small child, im definitely having hormone deficiencies. Now my age is 30 , i dont know what to do, im also having lot of nutrition deficiencies with autoimmune conditions ☹️🥺

  6. I was on Armour thyroid for years. Two years ago couldn’t get it. Got put on synthetic version and felt terrible and my TSH was the highest it ever was. Once Armour was available again it was remarkable .

  7. This man never ceases to amaze me… he is basically saying solve the problem from the root… fix the whole system not just one specific part of it… create homogeneous harmony! Dr. Berg you are in our hearts🤗❤️

  8. Hey Dr Berg! I’m in menopause, so no hormones being produced by my body, so I’m taking BHRT creams with Testosterone injections. I’m super healthy, eat Low carb and high fat.

    • Being post menopause too, and suffering from some very uncomfortable symptoms, I found an OTC cream with bio identical estriol and estradiol on Amazon that’s been working wonders for me. And really softened and plumped my skin too –
I had my naturopathic doc double check it’s effectiveness and safety for me, he gave it the 👍

  9. I have been taking organic beef liver capsules for about a month now . I take it in the vain of taking milk thisle ,which I take and tudca. Just to help the liver. My recent blood work showed everything in what the doctors consider a” bit better than normal. ” That’s what the doctor said. Eating lot of carviferous vegetables as well.

    • Im also taking milk thistle and Vit E.
So TUDCA is helping you out?
I bought the bottle but havent used it yet

  10. Btw Dr. Berg, since following about 2 years now I not only feel healthy, I look healthy. My wife and I were looking at vacation photos from about 5 to 6 years ago,and she said that I actually look better now than back then. Im not puffs or swollen looking. I’ve learned so much from you!!! Thank you so much.

  11. I found your channel on time. I’m soo grateful to God and you doctor that I decided not to go ahead with a horrible hysterectomy and then suffer for the rest of my life.
I have been following your natural health advice, green tea, eggs, turmeric etc and I’m much better in many ways.

  12. Thank you Dr Berg! this is why I didn’t want to stay dependent with the hormones for my thyroïd. I’m ok now but at the beginning I tried these glandulars for my thyroïd.

  13. Very interesting! Would be really good to go deeper in explains with maybe each gland vs its glandular therapy. 😃

    • @Dr. Eric Berg DC Have you researched hormone therapy across sexes (trans) males taking estrogen or females taking testosterone?

  14. Thankyou Dr Berg for all your super beneficial info & tips. 🙏 Hope you can share some info on colon/intestine issues and consequence of bad colon condition and how to medicate sick colon and maintain a healthy colon. Would be very useful. 💝

  15. I was born in 1961. As a teen, I recall a nurse who lived at the end of our street who had a hypothyroid. She used sheep thyroid. She stated that there are more thyroid hormones involved that the desiccated sheep thyroid provided. Later when Synthroid came along she refused to use it. She felt better using the natural source. It made her feel healthy and normal while the Synthroid did not.

    • Following a group “The Thyroid Madness” was put on thyroid meds and only to be taken of a year later, put on it again after another pregnancy. Ten years ago I weaned myself of the thyroid meds and after a while could wean myself of anti depressants. I felt better the last ten years to the fifteen years on meds. Even when I became widowed a couple of years ago I didn’t sink into depression again.

  16. Ive been considering taking estrogen, but i had a feeling it was synthetic. This vid came at the perfect time. Thanks Dr Berg!

  17. Thanks Doctor! My Doctor recently retired and was replaced by a child.
Its hard to find anybody not selling something today. What you say rings true.

  18. I’m new to your channel one lost 60 pounds doing keto & internment fasting. I went from 189 to 130 I’m 5’2 I lost 30 pounds in 4 months no exercise the other 30 pounds was an average of 7 pounds a month so total weight loss took 10 months but it was amazing I went from a size 18 to a 4 I ate the same thing every day for 18 months. My issue is this I’m a vegan so keto is extremely difficult for a long term lifestyle for vegans. Even juicing it’s hard because you basically have celery juice. I’ve gained about 12 pounds in the last 4 yrs I’m 144 now. I’m a size 6 or 7 still look & feel great but I want to know how to do keto correctly as a real vegan? What can I eat to maintain my muscles, keep fat off and stay healthy. I’ve heard some doctors say you shouldn’t do keto long term. I use to do keto 20 yrs ago when we called it the Atkins diet. I’m 46 so I really want to stay healthy but enjoy some fruits as a vegan can I really do keto long term as a lifestyle and be vegan 🌱 without causing health issues? SN: I’m healthy never been hospitalized except for child birth and I’ve never been on medication either I only take vitamins. Thank you for your response.

  19. Brilliant! I hope you talk more on this subject it is a great alternative barely considered by most but really addressing complex issues going on at the same time!

  20. Thank you, Dr. Berg!
I have a low thyroid & low T but I stopped taking the synthetic Synthroid & the AndroGel.
I would like to find out more about glandular therapy to address my issues.
    Have a GREAT day, Neighbor!
