Let’s talk about how to get rid of histamines naturally.

Histamines are developed when you encounter something you’re allergic to, during an infection, or after an injury. Histamines are also in our food supply.

Symptoms of histamines can include:
• Mucus
• Sneezing
• Runny nose
• Itchy eyes
• Watery eyes
• Red eyes

Certain organs, like your liver and kidneys, have enzymes that help you break down histamines. It’s important to support your liver and kidneys to help get rid of histamines.

The best remedies for dealing with histamines are:
1. Grass-fed beef kidney extract
2. Grass-fed beef liver extract
3. Milk thistle

It’s also important to avoid consuming things high in histamines, including fermented foods and drinks.

  1. Also nettle, available in capsules, is helpful as a natural antihistamine. Dosage would be in the range of 1-3 capsules 3 times daily. Also NAC is helpful. Dosage is 600-1000 mg once or twice daily as needed.

  2. I had bad hay/dust fever .. my mom (p.s. Indian origin in UK) insisted I have ajwain seeds boiled up in water.. add tumeric. Let it cool down.. drink the water AND then chew and eat the seeds…
    I haven’t taken a hayfever tablet since (last 15 years).. 😊😊

  3. Good morning Dr Berg’, I had seasonal allergy all my life- It’s gone after getting on Keto and started taking supplements you recommend- Thank you Sir.

  4. I always look for your expert advice Dr Berg because your information is always honest and very useful. Thank you very much as always.

  5. I have noticed for the first time in my whole life my allergies are largely reduced after changing my diet. Since November I have been eating low carb/keto with the goal of reaching full keto and normally I suffer horribly from pollen allergies but this year it has barely affected me, I haven’t even had to touch my allergy medication that in previous years I was at the mercy of and I’m very thankful!

  6. Don’t forget swelling of your sinuses caused by some of these symptoms .
The pressure in your head plays a big part in the way you think and feel !

  7. Qucertine 2 x’s per day took care of my watery eyes . I’d get watery eyes from may to July and it was awful I’d look terrible from wiping and rubbing my eyes . Thanks Dr. Berg 😊

  8. I needed this so badly 😂
Dr Berg my allergies have gotten worse since keto and IF I think its because I’m eating more dairy and I’ve noticed eggs cause my itching to it’s very frustrating.
Thank you for this because the itching is driving me crazy.

  9. Upon switching my diet, I can also say I no longer suffer from 97% of my allergies and sinus issues that use to plague me.

  10. Hello Dr.Berg. i suffer cyclical anaphylaxis and not a single allergist has suggested any of this. I find that interesting considering anaphylaxis every single month is pretty dangerous. I was told to take zyrtec 😕 and thats it.

  11. After your video about bee pollen, I started to take them and trust me my body is ” collapsing.” in a good way I lived in NYC for 8 years and no allergies back to Europe in London I am suffering a lot each season, on top of that I am Swiss and you mentioned no chocolate no cheese… and I take apple vinager every day…😬🤦🏼‍♀️🤣🤣🤣

  12. Thank you for the ideas. Milk thistle was a surprise and I will add it to my collection of remedies. I also use grapefruit-lemon rind tea concoction. Works like a charm.

  13. Is there any new information on removing gmo chemicals such as glyphosate from the body? I’ve seen your video but it’s rather short for such an important topic.

  14. I’ve been following Dr. E. Berg since he had 6.6M followers for a little over a year, now he has 10.7M. And it will be for something, right?! One of the great and best doctors in the media world! God Bless Dr. Berg and his team!

  15. Over the last 6 months I’ve healed myself through fasting and rebuilding my gut flora and lining due to a progressively worse histamine intolerance that was asthmatic and about to an “emergency” level before I figured out the problem and started solving it. While I was still suffering from histamines, holy basil and quercetin helped me tremendously. So if I ever experience an allergic response to anything again those will be my go-tos, and they work faster than Benadryl with equal effects and no sleepiness in my experience.

  16. That’s every food that I like to eat! I don’t believe I have been having trouble with Histamines though. I have added radish to my Keto Diet recently on the other hand and it purged gallstones like a champ! That was an interesting night, to be sure!

    Thank you, always!

  17. I LOVE your channel! I am 43 years old and have suffered my whole life with allergies, sinus inflammation, and sensitive skin. I was recently recommended to take Cataplex F, but i can’t find much information on it.

  18. When you listed all the foods high in histamines, you were also listing all the most common migraine triggers.

  19. Hi Dr. Berg. I’m severely allergic to grass, a 6 on the allergy scale. I ended up in the er from milk thistle so that’s a hard no, but I’m curious about the grass fed supplements and whether you think they’d be safe.

  20. I am a little desperate. For more than three years I eat keto which made me loose 30 Kilograms (about 60 pounds I guess) very quick. After two years I had a kidney stone blocking the canal. So I learned to quit almonds and -milk and spinach because I guess the stones come from too much oxolate in my body. Because of your recommendation I was drinking apple vinegar with a blended lemon plus kefir every day. Now I am getting hives and rashes all over my body out of nowhere. So I need to stop fermented things like kefir, apple vinegar and cheese, I guess. I am right now building up my immune system in the colon with lactic acid bacteria. But after weeks of usage it won’t get much better. It feels like a never ending story.
