    1. Caloric restriction
    2. Exercise
    3. Sleep/ stress reduction

    Social relationships can also be thrown in too but that鈥檚 harder to measure

  3. Really useful video. I have a question Siim, how come I can fall asleep easier if I eat sugar before sleep, how could I avoid it?

  4. Would I still get the benefits of intermittent fasting if I stopped eating around 8pm? My current eating windows is 5pm-8pm.

    • You鈥檇 get a portion of the benefits of time restricted feeding, but you wouldn鈥檛 get the benefits of EARLY time restricted feeding that he mentions in this video. If you can shift the eating window to where you鈥檙e done eating 3-4 hours before sleep, you鈥檒l get all of the benefits mentioned.

    2) methyl donors from food
    3) high frequency exercise

  6. btw: 12 years sounds less impressive than “42.857142857%” (or “nearly 43%” for the less autistic ones)

  7. siim i thought i watched video of yours recently that said yu dont worry about intermittent fasting anymore

  8. There is zero evidence that intermittent fasting is beneficial for health or longevity when calories are controlled for. In other words, IF may be beneficial if it reduces your caloric intake, but it has not been shown to have any benefits beyond that. And it might actually harmful since it compromises one’s ability to meet their protein RDA.

  9. When it comes to longevity and supplements what’s your top 5?
    I currently take creatine, d vitamin, fish oil and a nad + reservattol combo!
