This was a fantastic interview. It’s very useful to hear about Mike’s experiments.
We all know diet and exercise. I like that this guy reiterated AGAIN the importance of sleep. Siim, like so many reputable sources, mentions the importance of sleep. They say it is #3. But then they talk about diet and exercise only. I guess there ain’t much to write about with sleep. You are either sleeping or you don’t. It’s not like 1/3 of a book or video could talk about sleep. Without proper sleep, you will fail at diet and exercise. I know first hand. God bless melatonin.

On blood tests, I agree with Michael, a yearly basic test is not enough. Not only because it might not be representative but also most people will have at least one parameter that’s off so you need to intervene and do a follow-up within a couple of months. Also very important to know optimum values within reference range rather than just assume that all is OK if within range.

With physical exercise there is a sweet spot, it shouldn’t be too little and not too much.
How reasonable is it for a senior to wait two days between working out with weights?
So increasing EPA/DHA Omega 3s intake above 6gm/p/d is a means resist the decline in DHEA-S level with aging?
We’ll see, I’m currently testing that hypothesis to see if correlation will = causation!
What biological testing company do you recommend?
