1. Levels and Risk Assessment of Residual Phthalates, Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons and Semi-Volatile Chlorinated Organic Compounds in Toilet Tissue Papers (DOI:10.1016/j.toxrep.2019.11.013)
"A total of 32 composite toilet tissue samples from 8 different brands were analysed in replicates for PAHs, phthalates and SVCOCs. Analysis was conducted using Shimadzu GCMS QP 2020 with the MS operated in SIM mode. The results showed elevated levels of PAHs, phthalates, and appreciable levels of SVCOCs in the toilets tissue papers. The risk assessment conducted, showed an associated elevated cancer risk over10-4 for PAHs in all samples and DEHP in samples NN, BB and SF. The risk associated with the levels of carcinogenic SVCOCs were found to be over 10-5 but less 10-4"

My point is that
1. a lot of bleached toilet papers contain hormone disruptors that are known to have adverse effects on hormones
2. bleached toilet paper is horrible for the environment and ecosystem via wastewater
3. if unbleached toilet paper is by far better for the environment then it should be the only reason to use it instead of bleached toilet paper but given the fact that bleached toilet paper also has hormone disruptors then why use it
4. unbleached toilet paper is cheaper, better for the environment and doesn't have any chemicals so the only rational decision is to pretty much use it over bleached toilet paper. The fact that bleached toilet paper is horrible for the environment and water bodies is alone to not use it

Interesting 🤔
It may be white but when I’m done with it it’s all kinds of brown.
Use water! Simple !
Water + finger 😂
I use water and that would be expected for someone of my ethnicity.
Yup, much cleaner and healthier.
Don’t forget your finger
This one seems like a stretch.
C’mon, Siim, this is just out in woo-woo land.
Environmental toxins aren’t a joke, but it depends on what parts of life you want a put a microscope on. You got an air/water filter? Use windex/fabuloso to clean your house?
I have never seen toilet paper that color and my fertility has been just fine. No lady issues.
bidets should be standard in every house. I wash myself after number 2 instead of using paper, but I squat in a bath tub or sit on the edge of the sink.
You are absolutely right. Unfortunately here in Italy it’s very difficult to find unbleached one
That is something I didn’t know. Thanks for the information.
Omg we can’t even use toilet paper anymore 😂
I’ll look out for unbleached toilet paper if it’s available. Don’t recall ever seeing it before.
Okay yes , makes sense, brown toilet paper here I come ! Thank youuuuu
I am not sure they even sell that unbleached stuff around here?
My sensitive parts thank you, Siim.
If you are going to go down this route of information, you may as well let people know that they are supposed to squat to poop😊. I have also recently discovered, disposable, flushable wipes that are non-toxic, much better than toilet paper.😊.
They are great.
This is sad… Can’t even wipe with peace of mind. But i am glad that you point this out. It is an interesting one
Ugh! Same with all sanitary products! So true!
We as Indian 🇮🇳 use water.. so we dont need to worry 😅
