The problem with cacao is heavy metals, e.g., cadmium.
And what about the sugar content in commercially-produced dark chocolate?
@Nello’s Nook he prolly meant pure 100% cacao(very low sugar), still most of them if not all has high heavy metals as mentioned above. I personally believe that having a small dose of cacao is beneficial to me, I just feel better with it, don’t know about other people
@Nello’s Nook I had been eating 100% dark chocolate and cacao nibs (i.e., no sugar) but stopped when I learned they have heavy metal content.
@Erik Johnsonhow would cocoa nibs be contaminated as they are not processed? Its straight from the source
@threeteenthe source.
liver not even on the list
1. I agree.
2. I love liver! 😛
3. Organ meats are under-appreciated for their incredible nutritive value.
1. I can’t drink Green Tea.
2. Makes me cough.
3. Supplementation only.
I really had to experiment with different brands. A few almost felt like there were chemicals or something on it that felt dry & irritating in my throat. I know that sounds weird for a liquid drink.
What I found is labeled organic and it’s probably not the best quality but has flavors. I def feel better after a week of drinking it over plain water
@Green Tea
1. What about Green Tea supplements?
2. I’ve been sprinkling Ujido Green Tea powder in my food, but I can still taste the awful stuff.
3. I’m thinking of just buying empty gelatin capsules & filling them with the Green Tea powder.
4. That way I can swallow the suggested daily dose without it irritating my throat.
5. What do you think?
6. Thank you for your responses, GT! 🙏
@Nello’s Nook I’ve never tried the supplement form but the capsule idea is great!
I get it about the flavor. I rarely have mine plain. Most often I put in an herbal tea bag, mostly lemon ginger or just grate some fresh ginger into my cup.
Have you ever tried the white tea? It’s supposed to also have many health benefits
It can be harder to find but the good stuff is very mild, light golden when brewed and tastes much better than green. It’s a flavor that’s pleasant and to me, doesn’t need disguising or covering up like green
Personally, I tend to avoid; tea, coffee, chocolate and caffeinated beverages.
Caffeine and theobromine are stimulants. While they other short term benefits, they’re still excitotoxins at the end of the day. Not something that’s good in the long term.
Thank you for the info.
“green tea”: shows a smoothie
1 Eggs (only pasture raised and best if you cook the white and yoke raw.)
2 Olive oil (best is from Greece with higher polyphenols as research shows, where most countries get it from to mix it with theirs when they sell it)
3 Green tea (mainly good with some slight issues but watch out that it does not stain teeth)
4 Coffee (As I stated in the coffee video more bad than good even without the sugar which good luck)
5 Cocoa (at the center has a hard seed most don’t notice, so maybe blend it. Contains lead which organic has less, so take some cilantro to help detox)
I also say
Liver if prepared right to a moderate amount and clean source.
Seaweed has a lot of nutrients if also a clean source
Is there a noticeable difference between green tea, white tea, and black tea ???
Yes.
Mr Land, I really appreciate your work. However it does bother me when some of viewers nit pick your videos. I think you’re doing a great job, thank you 👍
doesn’t chocolate have oxalates? bad for kidney stone sufferers?
6. Avocado 7. Salmon or Sardines
