  2. with increasing technology it’s hard to predict, with regenerative medicine, growing replacement organs, and new drugs who knows, but one thing is certain the health span is definitely increasing, just look at older guys on trt who work out, I don’t see the life span being much longer but the pace of ageing being slowed until the end of life when there’s a quick drop off

  3. Okay, you covered resistance and zone 2 – but what about 4×4 etc. near max heart rate exercises? How often should those be performed, and how should they be scheduled in regards to other sessions?

  4. don’t think mathematical models are useful in this case. Extrapolating the past is very flawed because the current longevity research has a fundamental new approach compared with the previous medical research. Extended average lifespan was just a byproduct until a couple years ago.

  5. I’m allergic to bovine collagen but I have zero problems with marine collagen. I would try pure bovine and pure marine collagen separately and see which one works for them.

  6. I read somewhere that Centenarians ‘had’ high Cholesterol !? I thought in general high cholesterol isn’t necessarily chronic. : as the Centenarians appear to prove.

    • High cholesterol is associated with CVD risk. I don’t know where you read that but it could be that these people end up with high cholesterol that develops in later life due to multiple co morbidities rather than high cholesterol being the reason they are still alive. If you’re trying to live as long as you can it’s probably wise to keepLDL low

  7. We will likely live longer due to improved healthcare and medicine, although on a population level of obesity continues to rise that average may not move much.

  8. I think we will reach the longevity escape velocity in the next 50 years. Ai and quantum computing most certainly will get the job done (as the rate of scientific progress is increasing exponentially), although I don‘t know yet if I like the fact that I will live for maybe more than 100 million years 🤷🏼‍♂️

  9. Wow. The oldest person in your family was 80. Yikes. I have 97+ on both sides. Lots of males on both sides died in late 50s to early 60s but not females. I have some genetic luck 🍀 on my side 🤞We shall see.

  10. I think the technology in the toroidal field implosion which is being studied and suppressed now is a natural human technology that will cause the break through in the field. But that’s just my opinion

  11. There will definitely be medical breakthroughs but they won’t be available for 7 billion people.. realistically it’s up to us as individuals to live a long and healthy life. Good decision making and a lil bit of luck is our best bet.

  12. Would be careful to say that nobody has ever lived longer than Jeanne Calment. There have been billions of people before us with no birth certificate or any proof that died. Statisticly, it seems likely to me there have been more people around age 120, or even much higher.

Interestingly, in ayurveda they believe the age limit is around age 164. But you would not really be “living”. You be breathing a few times each minute and meditating most of the day. Slowing your breathing down to a little as humanly possible would give the greatest benefit to lifespan. Because this would slow down all forms of damage and metabolism, and you would need almost no food. This is where “breatharian” stems from.
