Interesting, thanks.
I’ll just build a deep freezer to walk into. Problem solved lol
Slightly different topic but have you heard of cold plunging before workouts increasing testosterone?
Would sauna training, which increases surface vascularity and blood vessel density, allow you to better keep cool without cold packs?
Wow the salt one really is a crazy hack. Impressive
Another great video.

Siim how it is possible for me , glycine causing muscle cramps? I can not understand it.
@siimland
I’m doing this salt thing (4-5 g before workout) and it really works. Postponed fatigue. But I think in my case it works through electrolyte balance. I’ll try the palm cooling stuff between exercises
Thanks for the tip! .. I have a electrolyte pill that I take sometimes before training.. so maybe I can make a solution and take it before the workout and add one into my workout water bottle as well.
Really interesting. What about taking a cold shower before exercise? I’ve heard some people do that
That’s what i commented a month ago as an alternative to ice baths.
Interesting 😮
I am not sure the advice given is a good idea. Some literature suggests that you should warm up prior to exercise to reduce the risk injury, whereas here in this video the advice is to cool down to increase performance.

Makes sense why I take a lot of pause and water in between sets. I feel like I’m performing better, and I’m not in a rush. If I’m at the gym for 2-3 hours. It’s fine, I work at a PC at home so I don’t mind the time.
