  3. SUPER easy to make your own pumpkin puree just get some pie pumpkins, slice, take out the seeds, flip it in a rimmed baking sheet with water. Bake for 40 min on 375. Scoop out the “meat” and puree it in a blender or food processer and put it in qt freezer bags and freeze. Simple and CHEAP.

  4. Wow, this is what Ive been wanting, pumpkin pie is my fave. Just found a almond flour crust. Ill try it both ways & see if I can do it with out crust…..but I dont know. I will use 0 cal sweetner, no honey.
    The smoothy looks Good too!!

  5. I use an egg separator to separate eggs. It makes it so easy, and you should be able to find one in any store that sells kitchen equipment. I have never used any other method.

  6. Hi Myra, thank you for the pumpkin pie recipe, I’ll definitely be making that this weekend. Btw, about the protein smoothie, how the taste like? Is there any aftertaste from the stevia? I have tried stevia in the past, it has a slightly bitter taste because of the stevia. I was hoping that Flavcity has a smaller pack for new customers to try his products before commit buying the big bag.

  8. You may not like this idea but it’s quick & works great – separate those eggs by cracking it then dripping the white through your fingers, thus leaving only the yolk in your hand. โค

    • Optionally, crack into a bowl and be sure the egg yoke is whole, the pick up with hands. Be sure fingers are a little separated to drop off whites. Either way, hands are the quickest way. Just don’t crush the egg, keep the hands firm and slightly curled but not tight. And be sure there are gaps between fingers to help drain the white from the yoke.

  10. As for your protein shake. Almond milk has no protein and I know it’s only 30 calories per serving but if you want that extra boost of protein try non-fat Fairlife Milk. It’s only 80 calories per serving with 13g of protein and it’s lactose free like Almond milk. It also has a good shelf life like Almond milk and tastes like real milk. BTW big fan of this recipe. You have any other pie recipes like this?
