4 responses to “Dangers of Too Much Zinc”
Most people have to much copper
Yep, and causes issues like anxiety.
@@Leonhart_93 yep and statement that you can get enough zinc from food is wrong here. Absorption quite low from food or zinc glycinate, most food like eggs, salmon, caviar most seafood or plants are copper dominant or at best have ideal balance of copper to zinc. The only zinc dominant foods are like meat, oysters, cheese and dairy but absorption is low and amount here is low too. Oysters are toxic as well
Hard to get this condition if you don’t supplement very large amounts of zinc, like 200%+ RDA.
Copper excess seems far more common and sometimes it’s beneficial to deplete some of it with zinc, as it sticks around and causes issues.
