    • It’s actually cool stuff for gastro chefs to use. They can make awesome concoctions but yeah it’s terrible for the human body

    • @@EthanTheGreat_ not necessarily to give a pill its shape. You have to read labels as it can be found in protein powder as well, encapsuled vitamins and supplements too. The fact is that maltodextrin is very high in the glycemic index (GI) which is much higher than sugars to enjoy 😉

  1. Those mass gainer shakes are full of it. My friend and I were using them for a while and always got sick.

  2. So food labeled sugar free can be much worse than the sugar you were trying to avoid. Food companies have so many dirty tricks up their sleeve.

  3. I learned about maltodextrin by Dr. Berg in previous videos but I had no idea that it is among the ingredients in some “healthy seeds” I chose as snack for someone till i checked the list of items, i mean why they even need to add this to sunflower seeds? Thank you for sharing this.

  4. Maltodextrin makes my heart beat so fast I feel like I’m going to have a heart attack. I read all labels to try to stay away from it.

  5. It can also be found in generic versions of stevia splendor! My experience over the last 4 years if you consume something and you know it’s damaging your health make a list to avoid it and tell others

  6. A huge culprit: coffee mate Zero Sugar. The second ingredient is soybean oil, the third ingredient is maltodextrin.🤢
