3:19 The best castor oil for your hair
In this video, we’re going to talk about the benefits of castor oil. Castor oil contains the compound retinoic acid, which acts as a remedy for many issues involving the skin and hair.
Castor oil can be very beneficial for the following concerns:
• Dry skin
• Brittle hair
• Dry hair
• Hair loss
• Cracked heels
• Stretch marks
• Scars
• Dermatitis
• Joint pain
• Acne
• Styes
Retinoic acid in castor oil has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties and is a potent antioxidant. Castor oil is a natural conditioner for the skin and hair, so it works as an excellent moisturizer. It can also rejuvenate skin affected by sun damage.
Castor oil has antifungal properties, so it works as a remedy for toenail fungus.
Castor oil is easy to find and relatively inexpensive! Look for cold-pressed castor oil without a hexane solvent.
Jamaican black castor oil is the best for hair. It stimulates hair growth, adds shine, and can also help with alopecia.

@@igoriapaz391 Jamaican Black Castor Oil, same as Doc in the video
Hello. Yes. Thanks for your comment.
I’m waiting to see results there?
My guy you are so good for humanity
Thank you for your comment. Appreciate it!
It will definitely cause labor in a woman that is ready for the baby to be born. I was three weeks late, took a tablespoon and started labor in two hours or less 😊 my first baby girl. I also use it as a moisturizing oil, everywhere. One other thing, my sweet cockerpoo female, Macie, has severe cateracts, I used it daily in her little eyes and it controlled her issue although it didn’t clear it up completely it really really helped her.
Me too…. My labor took less than 2 hrs after having a teaspoon. Introduced to many friends who had similar experiences
That’s how I was born as well.
@rajitenson3242 I did the same went right into labor 😂😂 I was tired of being pregnant but I was also already 9 months
Congratulations 🎉
I just bought castor oil not reading warning label which states to be used for external use only. It’s organic cold pressed😢
Male at 77 years young, I have been using it almost daily on my face, arms and legs. Softens skin amazingly, I leave it on as long as I am not going out and shower to remove the very sticky oily sheen. Highly recommend it for anyone to use daily or 3 to e times a week. Can stain clothing if you overdo it.
Thanks for noting that it could stain clothing!
Thank you I’m 73 and I thank you for your advice
I used to use black nigella seed oil but it has become too expensive
@@orion9khow expensive?
Can you also drink it?
It will help grow your eyelashes and brows back, too
Yes I have notice more growth on my eyelashes and eyebrows.
I have been using it for many months and have only noticed that my face is now dryer if I don’t use it because it doesn’t make natural oil any more on its own.. no thicker hair or eyebrows or eyelashes.. wrinkles are still just as prevalent..
How do you put it on your lashes?@@Lavender_Bee_
Yes! Eyelashes and brows are thick again! I use it on my face every day as well as other places.
Agreed!
I just started using castor oil on a brown sun spot on my face!! It feels like the new Botox!! Spot is fading…..feb 1 til March 14…I’ll keep going
Cocoa butter will fade spots also.
I been putting castor oil for brown spots as well, hope they clear like your 😊
That’s great. Thank you for sharing!
How often do you apply and wash it off?
@user-mx5vr5ce7m I’ve been putting it on every morning and evening on a brown spot on my cheek. It’s fading…not gone..since feb 1. I don’t wash it off
My girlfriend used it for an issue in her eye which she got. She told the doctor she was using Castro oil. He frowned at her. It cleared right up. So, I bought Castor oil too!
How did she use it?
I’ve had an eye cyst for months. I have put castor oil around both eyes at night & seems to be helping.
Full disclosure I had a tooth go bad on me 3 weeks ago left side of mouth & cyst is left eye ONLY. Had antibiotics (still suffering from those) & root canal 4 days ago. Have not had an eye cyst in a couple weeks. 🤔 🤷♀️
by the way, root canals are not recommended, healthwise
@@jeff-sq4fewhat is recommended?
@jeff-sq4fe very true! For those interested there is a good documentary called Root Cause on tubi
My husband has been using Castor oil on his face for three weeks and his age spots are not nearly as dark. 👍
My brother used it for serious case of rosacea. Worked like a charm!!
Thank you for sharing!
Does it cause more hair to grow?
Amazing! What brand would you recommend?
I have found it speeds up wound healing
I’ve been using as a moisturizer & went to a store with just minimal foundation. The two young women helping me (I am over 50 & guess they are half my age) commented at how soft & pretty my face was & said they’d not wear makeup ever if their skin looked as good.
How often do you apply and wash it off?
I started using caster oil on my arthritic wrist after getting the tip from a holistic Veterinarian who recommended it for pet skin issues and joint pain. It seems to work pretty good on my wrist & thumb. Now I know other uses. Good stuff.
It helped to grow back my eyebrows at the ends as I aged!
Thank you for sharing!
I applied castor oil for my alopecia. I used it on my both eyebrows, they grew back in 4-5 months.
Did you use it on your head to help hair growth there?
Did you use the Jamaican black castor oil like the doctor recommended?
Thank you for sharing!
Did you wash it off everyday? And did you apply it every day?
I used it in my hen’s eye after I caught a hawk on her back pecking at it. Her cornea was torn up, and deep! I couldn’t think of anything else to do. I put one drop in every other day (twice total), at first it got cloudy, but within a week it’s completely healed like nothing happened. This happened around 3 weeks ago.
Omg your poor hen!! Thank goodness she healed
Poor hen. How’s she doing now?
@@DIONISMP She’s doing great, like nothing happened. She can see out of that eye and is happy and active as ever. I’m not exaggerating when I say her eyeball was torn open and within a week it healed completely, and looks identical to her other eye. The only other thing I put in her eye was silver, gently swabbed once. Then two drops of castor oil. This stuff is amazing!
Been using Castor Oil in the last 6 months–Its a MIRACLE oil. Its faded sun spots, improved and smoothed my skin, I used it in conjunction with Wild Yam cream to eliminate menopausal symptoms ( hot flashes, insomnia and anxiety).
I heard about the cream from Barbara ONeil. Glad to hear some feedback on it. I’ve looked into it.
How do you use it for menopause symptoms- topical application and how often? Thx
What brand would you recommend?
I’m a HUGE believer in Black Jamaican Castor Oil for more than 10 years! I use it on my face, eyes, literally everywhere. It is magic!
Do you use back Jamaican oil on face too? I thought it was not supposed to apply on face bcz of black color
What brand?
Brand please
Bought that one don’t remember if I liked it or not think I did

Im 16 years old and i have known about the benefits the moment i put it on my skin. It is so good.
I’ve used it on my fibrocystic breasts to manage the pain and it got rid of my wart. This is my miracle oil ❤
Thank you dr. Berg for posting about castor oil. I discovered it by accident, back in 2017, I grew my hair so long as it saved it from dryness and breaking, using it as a mask before washing, I also mix it with the shampoo it blends perfectly. But this winter, when my face got so dry during the cold dry days, no moisturizer would help. I started putting castor oil on my face in the evening. I wake up with fresh skin and smooth skin. My skin is stronger and doesn’t get as dry anymore.
It helped me together with a warm pad or massager to heal my back pain. Also, I started rubbing it into my feet before sleep then put my feet in woven socks, until it absorbs. That was 3 months ago, and now my every night routine.I never ever since my childhood had such soft almost baby feet. Castor oil is amazing. Sticky and doesn’t smell the best, yet absorbs in such a great way and is so helpful! When I give myself those treatments I sleep so well and wake up feeling better.
