  4. This is interesting stuff. I recently found out about a food service called just meats and I have found it extremely helpful in getting adequate protein. Its so tricky as a toddler mom to keep everything together so i haven’t had much success with meal prep but i do find that regardless of meal prep the planning ahead part is SOOO valuable!

  5. GIRL!!! Spot on. Everything you said is 100% facts. I lost 30 pounds in 3.5 months doing this very thing. Real food! High protein, high fiber, low carb. That’s it! And easy strength training at home with dumbells. You GOTTA build muscle to keep strong bones & you burn more fat at a resting rate when you have more muscle.

  6. Your recipes are awesome. I cooked a whole chicken, chicken thighs and pork chops today so I can meal prep tomorrow.
    I’ve been struggling since the 3nd week in Jan. I was down 8 lbs and then I gained 3.
    I use carb manager but find myself obsessing over counting carbs, fat, protein and fiber. Then I get disappointed with myself and then sabotage myself.

  13. You are absolutely right! I never had a weight issue until perimenopause. I was struggling with hot flashes, night sweats and insomnia so bad! I tracked everything for a few weeks until it started to trigger me. What I did learn was how much sugar and bad carbs I was taking in. I changed my diet, started walking more and weight training. Within a few days no more hormonal symptoms!!! Another plus was it helped reduce my anxiety a lot! I am 10 weeks in, I feel amazing and have seen great results. I am not deprived or super restrictive. I still allow myself to live life but just make better choices. Your video’s have helped me along the way. Thanks ❀
