  1. I donโ€™t eat yogurt since I went Keto. There are other milk products that have no carbs. Iโ€™ve never found a yogurt with 0 carbs.

    I lived in Greece many years ago, before it became popular here. As far as Iโ€™m concerned, itโ€™s only Greek yogurt if itโ€™s made with sheepโ€™s milk and has a skin on the top.

    I may try this with sour cream and a little maple syrup or honey.

    • I’ve researched this quite a bit out of similar concern and will share what I came up with… In the US the labels are required to put the number of carbs in fermented foods to match the same as in the original state. Lacto-fermentation will reduce the carbs anywhere from 50%-80% depending on the food and length of ferment, because the bacteria eat up the sugars. If I recall correctly, yogurt is roughly 2/3rds LESS carbs than what you see on the label. Hope this helps!
