I’ve actually asked because I often have the discussion with my mother, how long before bed to stop eating, as she enjoys eating nuts right before bed. And for that I’ve never felt comfortable telling her the general recommendation of 3h before bed to stop eating, as it leaves the individual factor out. Now I have a more throughout explanation for me and her.
