In this video, I’m going to tell you how to slow down aging so you can look younger and live longer. The mitochondria are the body's energy factory. The health and function of your mitochondria directly correlate to aging and longevity.

The Krebs cycle is a process in your body that starts with food and ends with energy. It requires nutrients or cofactors to work properly. NAD is a vital nutrient involved in extracting energy from food to make ATP, and it’s critical for longevity and anti-aging.

NAD prevents muscle loss, especially in cancer patients, and protects against radiation. As we age, NAD decreases. Researchers have found that CD38 depletes NAD, and mice with less CD38 tend to live longer.

Here are 5 compounds that boost NAD to help slow aging:

1. Apigenin
Parsley is the best source, but it’s also found in thyme, oregano, basil, and celery.

2. Anthoxanthin
Consume blueberries and other blue, purple, or red foods such as elderberry, concord grapes, and purple potato.

3. Curcumin

4. Quercetin

    • Same! My Dr looks in his medical book produced by Bill gates. So I do the opposite of what my Dr says. Or , just save time and see what Dr Berg has on the subject .

  9. As a Certified Organic Orchardist I agree with your take on apple skins, Red Delicious being the best. Sadly the pesticides commercial growers use also accumulate in the skin. Systemics poison the entire tree. Ida Red has in the most nutrient in the fruit.

    • @@poppygoldensun I would say 45-50. I’ve seen 40 year olds look as old as him. So, he looks good and younger than his age. If he fixed the grey hair and shave, he would look 40-45.

  11. I used to do self destructive
    behaviors like eat ultra prossed food all the time but then when i found your videos i stop the junk and did keto so I’ve been eating this way since i was 15 and I used to be overweight. Thank you dr berg

    • It’s still not the end of the world in those junk cases, even severe ones over decades, just heavily fast and exercise gently like walking, and burn it all out, regenerate cells and rebuild with the good stuff.

    • You’re extremely lucky to have the access of these treasure knowledge at the very young age.
