    • Just goes to show that these tests are not all that reliable, this man looks ok for his age, nothing more. Of course looks are not the main part of the picture (though still an indicator), but unless he can show phenomenal blood results and tests in other regards this only exposes the only relative utility of the test upon which the results are based in the first place.

    • The best he can hope for, baring a revolutionary breakthrough medical intervention, is compressed morbidity. That is he will stay healthy right up to the end of his life, which will be long before the 118 year record.

I hear that Jeanne Calment didn’t really live to be 120 and that she died decades earlier and that her identity was assumed by her daughter, in order to continue to live in her apartment, which was set to pass to a local lawyer under the terms of a reverse mortgage agreement upon the mother’s death and in order to benefit from her generous state pension .

  1. Maybe you could find some of these olympians and interview them. I think Dave Pascoe does podcasts.

  2. Big up for the video content, and last but not least – for wearing the Chelsea Grin apparel and spreading the word 😉

  3. Julie Gibson Clark reportedly meditates too. Two anecdotal incidents do not make a pattern, but I do wonder if it helps.

  4. Most people don’t really want to die. Picking a high number makes them feel better. If humans lived to say 300 they would take better care of the planet.

    • Mankind’s effect on the planet is marginal and transitory. Ap. half of Europe is covered in forest and there are many areas in the U.S. where nature has reclaimed areas that used to be highly cultivated and inhabited. One of the biggest disasters now destroying large areas of pristine land and consuming massive resources are the highly inefficient and costly wind farms. There are now more known petroleum reserves than ever that God has provided. One last point is that at the current trajectory, the biggest problem facing societies all over the world is that the birth rate is too low to sustain future economies and infrastructure.

    • @@marktapley7571 None of us want to bring children into a world of rainbow flags and those who identify as a pervert to enter ladies spaces. In addition, most of us can barely survive here in the US. At this point, we’re just waiting on western civilization to fall

  5. “Time Enough For Love”, by Robert Heinlein, is about a guy who lives for 2,000 years. It’s his masterpiece.

  6. I tried to join, but they never get back or update the board. We need a new company to do this.

  7. I agree on having young friends, even watching movies w/younger ppl in them. Can you pls address the issue of post meno women needing more protein to avoid osteopenia etc? Also I prefer self-hypnosis over meditation, more directed and easier than trying to ‘control’ one’s thoughts though you do learn to empty your mind by doing that. Thx Siim.

    • You do need more protein post menopause. This guy is young and clearly not going through menopause in his life. Also recommend getting on low doses of estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. That is why Julie is staying so lean. Your body, bones, skin, hair, etc., are made of protein lol – You need to get this advice from someone in your age group or older, and those who specialize in women’s hormones or have actually experienced menopause. A 20 something guy can’t help haha

I eat 1.4 x my weight in pounds and thriving.

  8. Exercise is weird because in the right dosage it can be great, but you can way overdo it, stress your body out badly and end up far worse off.

  9. Whats you investigate Siim, is EXACTLY what is very interesting !! Great work ! Greetings from Denmark !
