  3. I am doing 2-3grams proteins per kilo body weight. A wild guess, I think my protein intake is probably around 40%-65% of my daily calorie intake.

    I also get my fats from:
    *Fishoil (2grams)*
    *Nuts (wallnuts(3-5), Pecan(6-10) nuts and nigella seeds(1tspoon)), cocoa (5-10grams)*
    *Butter(5-10grams)*
    *Ground beef(40-60grams)*
    *Eggs(2-6)*
    *Olive oil(2-4 spoons)*

    And I get around *100-120 grams of carbs* per day.

    • you only need 1.6g or max 1.8g per kilo. See discussion between mike israetel and xyz youtuber (cant remember the name now)

    • @@naturelife418 Yea that’s what they say, but I feel better with this diet, I have experimented with diet for many years and I do a lot of weight lifting and active.
      If I start eating less proteins, I start gaining more fat on my body, and I don’t want that.

    • ​@@orion9kexactly just do what works for you man. Ppl always want to quote some YT personality because they trust what they say, but often, these ppl forget of something called “bio-individulaity.”” We all have different needs, and no two bodies require the same inputs. Some people eat 300+ grams of protein per day, and its exactly what THEY need.

    • @@orion9k what are your protein sources just out of interest? sounds like you’re getting 250-300g.

  5. The info in this video is golden. I used to watch your videos 5ish years ago, you’ve really grown and refined your recommendations. But! I miss your sense of humor!! You used to include off the wall clips that tied everything together in a back-to-reality kind of way. Bring back the clips please. 🙏

  7. Fantastic bloodwork! What are your main sources for fish, and do you have concerns around microplastics and mercury levels considering you consume fish 3-4x per week?

  8. While I don’t disagree with your dietary regimen, the reality is, people of your age often have good blood work, regardless of diet. I’m a doc with a weight loss and HRT clinic. I have 19 year old patients who are morbidly obese with relatively clean blood work, considering their phenotype.

    • I believe siim is almost 30 years of age. Fair point but I mean he is not near 19. I want to say he mentioned he was 29 in another recent video.

    • @@Girvvy same for 30. 30 year old diabetics aren’t common. Plus he exercises which further buffers any poor dietary choices.

    • It’s an evidence based dietary plan. His blood work is not really all that important. Why u ppl bring it up all the time makes zero sense. It only validates that at the very least he is not hurting himself.

    • @@jorgesmith911 he’s the one that used his blood work results to imply the diet is on point. And did you not read the very first sentence of my post?

  9. Great Siim! I listen to you almost everyday. I do agree with this longevity point of view. I’ve been studying since 1999, certified nutritionist, always questioning conventional science aproach for different reasons….and for years I had the intuition that this 25% protein, 45% clean carbs is what my body loves. The challenge is getting the best fat sources. I enjoyed a lot this video. Thank you so much as always. Sending love for you and your wife from Mexico. 😊

  10. I like that you show the research. How many studies does it take to prove something? I am just curious cuz there is so much conflicting things on everything. Should the study come from a particular place? Just curious. Thanks. Just found the biohacker stuff and I am very interested👍😊

  13. Your blood work is excellent and you are correct regarding ApoB being the most important lipid marker but you lost me on dairy. The main protein in dairy is casein which is directly linked to many cancers.

  14. I started brisk walk around 8 km from work to home 4 times a week for the last 4 months , my vo2 max increased from 31 to 51 . I’m 53 years old 😊
