In this video, I’m going to share some weight loss tips to help you achieve a flat stomach. Fat storage is a survival mechanism, but there is a limitation to how much fuel can be stored. Once your body is out of storage, fat is placed around the organs. This type of fat is called visceral fat.
If visceral fat is stored for too long, it spills into your organs. This is called ectopic fat. The good news is that when you burn fat, this is the first to go.
It’s not the number of calories that causes this excess fat storage; it’s the type of calories. Alcohol and ultra-processed foods like high fructose corn syrup cause visceral fat and liver fat.
Chronic stress can even cause your body to turn things into sugar. Poor sleep can increase cortisol and visceral fat. Certain medications, such as steroids, antibiotics, antidepressants, and anti-anxiety drugs, can also increase visceral fat.
Seed oils, refined sugars, and starches in the diet directly contribute to mitochondrial damage and visceral fat. To lose visceral fat, you need to eliminate ultra-processed calories. Instead, consume nutrient-dense foods like red meat, eggs, and fish.
HIIT exercise is the best exercise for burning fat. HIIT involves short bursts of high-intensity exercise with rest. Weight training can help reduce belly fat by increasing muscle mass. Long walks can help reduce belly fat by burning fat and reducing stress.
Vitamin B1 helps reduce stress and improve sleep. Nutritional yeast is one of the best sources of B1. Vitamin D can also help you lose weight. If you can’t go out in the sun, take at least 10,000 IU of vitamin D3. Make sure to take magnesium with vitamin D3 because it allows for vitamin D's proper function and helps improve sleep. Fasting also helps to burn fat fast by reducing insulin spikes.

Thank you Dr Berg!
😺👍
Nutritional yeast has significant carbohydrates! How do we deal with this issue?
My Dr told me vitamin D is toxic taking 1000 a week
I actually read the whole article, cheers 👋🏽
@@jerriefreem285lies.. that’s no true!
@@keno7800 I just looked at the label on mine. It has 7 grams per 1/4 cup, including 4 grams of fiber, for a net carb count of 3 grams. And like the carbs in the veggies I eat, I don’t count these; but if you do, that’s still not bad if you use 1/4 cup at a time.
After CR7 Dr.Eric berg is the most consistent guy on the planet,
every week he drops videos with full intensity ❤
Thanks sir for caring Us
God Bless You 🙏
Thanks Dr Berg. I have reduced my visceral fat massively in my 412 days of Carnivore. I was level 19 on my smart scales now I’m tracking 8. My body fat % reduced from 25.4 to now 15.5%. A whopping 93-pound weight loss. Over 10 inches reduced from my waist. Quitting all sugar, processed foods and seed oils is a GAME-CHANGER. Quitting carbs was the best thing I ever did. I managed to achieve this after getting a Hasimoto’s auto-immune diagnosis. This was my massive reason for starting this journey. I appreciate your knowledge, help and wisdom.
I was just diagnosed with Hashimoto’s, still trying to wade through all my food restrictions and options, thanks for telling what worked for you.
Video called the scariest “doctor” on youtube told me so much about eric berg
@@FrankJames4-ki3btExcept the “scariest doctor” literally holds seminars to teach thousands of doctors how to better heal their patients. Doctors need his advice bc they aren’t learning the basics in med school. Be careful where you get your information. Dr. Berg never claimed to be a medical doctor but he literally gets his info from medical books- nothing “scary” about that.
@@maryhaney3386 100% hands down the carnivore diet.
Fantastic 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Seed oils should be removed and banned from the food supply.
Sugar should be illegal too
@@containedhurricane Sugar in the form of glucose isn’t nearly as bad as seed oils for human health.
Seeds oil means what, which are referring to, do you mean seseeme oil or peanut oile
Big pharma will never let that happen.
@@anushadev5019 Industrial seed oils used in processed food and for frying.
_How this one human has changed my life for the much better!_
This is an epidemic here in America. My wife and I were out yesterday and couldn’t help but notice the majority of people are shaped this way. ☹️
I am encouraged that the fat goes in stages. I can be confident the subcutaneous will go. I am doing 4/20 fasting and drinking lots of water.
I did keto for 2 years and lost 65 pounds and now we are doing carnivore healthy lifestyle thanks for sharing
High fructose corn syrup, seed oils, sugars, bad. Dr Berg good!
Yes agree with what you said about long walks. I’ve been on Ketogenic lifestyle and OMAD IF since 6/2022. As part of my ketogenic and IF lifestyle, I also started my long walks– about 20 hours into my fast. I walk 5 days a week, over 50 miles a week. A do a walk over 15 miles while fasting–in a little over 4 hours and 50 minutes. I am still doing my long walks. Since I started my long walks while fasting, I lost all my visceral fat on my body. And lost over 90 pounds in over 2 years. 😊
Wonderful testimony 🤗🤗🤗
Good job!
@Lioness_of_Gaia much obliged..thank you lioness. I just wanted to share my experiences to help others achieve their goals. I forgot to mention one thing. If anyone is interested in ketogenic lifestyle and intermittent fasting, please consult a keto friendly physician or a certified nutritionist–so this way, you won’t lose muscle mass, and they will guide you.
Best wishes..
@maryfolks9368 Thank you, Mary . Have a great and safe day.
In 2020 I was 113kg
2022 I was 86kg
I didn’t want to become too small so I worked my way up to a healthier 96kg which I currently weigh today 🔥💪
Workout 5 days a week, resistance training & cardio. I breath and sleep a lot better now 💪
The food industry doesn’t care about you. They care about selling more. And the medical industry needs you sick to stay open.
Last diet drink I tried was 48 years ago. Last coke was 40 years ago. Last McDonald’s burger was Easter 1985 visiting the Toronto Zoo. That’s was the only vendor they had there.
At 4,850 100 yard sprints for the season. Goal 10,000 by Thanksgiving. Usually 8,500 steps a day , 3,500 strides, age 69, no dr, no meds, not giving up. 11th grade weight 175. Going lower. Exercise sucks but never fails!
You still gonna die😂
Thanks Dr Berg
I lost all my fat by doing IF
Sometimes 12 hours sometimes 16
I am on ketovore diet
I am now wearing the same size of clothes when I was in my 20s and waistline 32”
I always monitor my Bp and blood sugar also watch what I eat!
I am more energetic at 66
I walk everyday
Thanks to you!
How long did it take?
I have a new job where I get 9,000 to 10,000 steps per day. Love it 😀
Diet soda, that’s what I thought. I drank diet soda for decades. Everyday. I also had 2 1/2 decades in a very stressful job. Thanks for sharing!
Dr. Berg has taught me so much more than my doctors.
Lots of great tips. I’ve lost 70.8lbs so far this year.
Keto & OMAD (one meal a day) from January through March. Took a break for a few weeks.
Then stopped keto and switched to OMEOD (one meal every other day) & LOTS of walking, about 35 miles per week. Just me & my AirPods. I learn Spanish as I walk.
I’m going to ride this wave to 90lbs
When my life imploded 25 years ago (so much trauma that I lost my short-term memory for 2 years) my GP told me (because I didn’t want anti-depressants) to just go on long walks in nature every day. I walked 4 hours each day in rain, sleet and snow: it took 2 years but I got my memory back. It really works for stress and trauma and to this day, I walk at least 2 hours a day.
People need to really start complaining to the Government about these dangerous oils.
