    • @@SiimLand okay Joe might be ethical but the liver king isn’t and the damage he has done to health and wellness is significant. I know this channel is all about objectivity and not morality but it still leaves a bad taste in the mouth

    • I don’t know what damage Liver King could’ve done to the health industry because everyone with 2 brain cells knew he was taking steroids from day one and reasonable people didn’t take him seriously anyway

    • @@SiimLand it’s not about the people with two brain cells Siim. Its the people who arent aware of longevity, healthy foods etc. he deliberately appealed to these people and gave them a dangerous message which was built on lies. Now that he’s been outed as a fraud these people have given up on this lifestyle because they don’t think it’s possible to achieve body composition and wellness goals unassisted essentially he black pilled them

    • We talked about Liver King for 5 minutes and I just thought it’s funny he has changed his routine and is taking supplements and eating plants. If anything it highlights the fallacy of his previous ways even more. Joe has been massively successful for almost 10 years now and his brand and company have nothing to do with Liver King. You’re getting upset here about nothing really

    • @@SiimLand actual science are weasel words, i ordered dna reports from 3 different companies and they are all similiar. CRI genetics and 23and me are not actual science?

    • Self Decode has health reports based on clinical trials for your genetics results and bloodwork. 23andme don’t have that is what I mean

    • he also lost credibility when he said that even meat dont contain enough of the amino acid which is completely wrong and misinformation. meat contani all the 9 amino acid our body needs !

    • Why? Because in your bubble world high cholesterol is a myth, right… the reality is quite the reverse true low levels of cholesterol equals lowest heart disease rates recorded. Time and time again across cultures, tribes and ethnicities.

    • @@BlissBlessHappiness the lower your cholesterol the higher the chances of dying. Fallow the money! The system came out with a certain number so that everyone would take a pill for the sake of profit.

    • @@BlissBlessHappiness your liver produces cholesterol and when they give you the pill to lower it they’re killing your liver cells so that your liver produces less cholesterol therefore your longevity never increases.

  2. You were able to stay classy. But as the viewer, I feel that you were not feeling this guy in the least.

  3. Not as informative as I expected. Siim you could’ve asked him some pertinent questions instead what we got is a long monologue with little info.

  4. This just screams hypochondriac. What happened to the days of eating good whole food’ Exercise and some good socialising with friends and family ? Do you genuinely believe that taking 150 man made pills a day is healthy? I guarantee this guy feels all over the place. Probably barely socialises because he’s working out his next ” Health ” stack. His comment where he says. Sometimes you need to take something else just to counteract the side effects of that pill. Doesn’t that not just say… Don’t take it to start with?

    • He’s just optimizing for many things and genetic deficiencies. I don’t think all 150 pills are necessary but I trust his judgement in terms of having tracked all their effects on his own body and his results. And he has a very active social life if you check his Instagram

    • @@SiimLand Hey Siim. I appreciate your reply and also your honest opinion.

I personally just feel like it’s overkill. Alot of these supplements are like shotguns in the body. Take berberine as an example. Fantastic for lowering blood sugars. But… It also is an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor. It also is an iron chelator. It has mtor reducing capabilities etc. Understand what I mean? He could be taking berberine and wondering why his iron levels are trash.

He just seems like a hypochondriac. Constantly monitoring every blip in his body and then stressing what pill will ” fix ” that. Our body’s are healing machines. They are breaking down and re-building 24/7.

I have no issues with supplements. I personally feel like some will benefit loads of people. I also feel like it could be dangerous also. I’ve seen people want to commit suicide after suffering severe anhedonia from ashwaghanda. One of the most used supplements in the world.

He really needs to quit them all. Let his body return to baseline and just eat good high quality food. The costs of those supplements alone. Jeez. That’s probably the best grass fed high quality ingredients you could buy.

Nothing is anywhere near as powerful as a good diet and exercise.

I know you don’t take many supplements and you look a picture of health and in great physical shape. Perfect example tbh

    • Clearly his not very good at talking/public speaking, but his site self decode/self hacked is a great resource of information for many cool topics/supplements. I’ve used that site for many years, his articles on nrf2, surtuins, histamine, ect are all very thorough and explain things simple enough that most people can understand.

    • Liver King can get genetics and health coaching from whoever he wants. It’s his health. Joe is probably one of the most experienced and knowledgeable guy in genetics and genetics-based health routines though

  5. The guy looks pretty normal to me, not younger than 40, but that’s probably just optics, but he doesn’t strike me as a rolemodel in terms of living a longer, healthier life. To me the human body is basically a mashine, like a car for instance. If you maintain it well, you’ll be able to put more miles on it, before it starts breaking down. It’s not rocket science. For your body to keep functioning at optimal levels you need to provide all of the building materials it needs to maintain itself and ensure that delivery pathways stay available and keep them free of blockadges. That means first of all, maintaining a truely heathy nutrition with as little deadly contaminants as possible, including of course ‘healthy supplements’. The body needs a couple of very specific things for all sorts of pourposes and although supplements are a topic of constant scientific debate, following the medical literature and your ‘god given’ common sense, we can make a lot of right choices at this point. Second of all, in order to deliver those specific nutrients to where they are actually needed, it is of utmost importance, to get your blood flowing at least once a day – every day. The exact type and amount of exercises will determine things like, your flexibility, your strenght, your heart-health and so on. But it is super important that you get the juices flowing, so the body can deliver your nutrition to the extremities and all of the places they are needed. That is basically the gist of it. Having said that, this Joe Cohen guy does not strike me as a person I would like to take my advice from. But that might just be a personal preference, I don’t know the man, I am not interested in his product either. Siim seems like a person that I want to listen to, but I feel that he is struggling to strike a balance between being a neutral source of longevety information and growing his channel into something bigger, that is also profitable in the long run. Sadly, examples like David Sinclair show that you can earn a lot of money in the realm of longevity, pushing products and methods that are costly, but don’t add any real bennefit, or even could be potentially harmful to the human body. Make up your own mind and stay sceptical of all influencers, is what I would recommend. That does not mean that everyone is out to get you, it just means that you should try to be your own doctor, think for your selves and not just blindly follow the recommendations of people who are earning a profit by convincing you of buying a product.
