Can the silica in the capsules cause lupus? I saw some research that suggested this. I had an “equivocal” ANA test and being tested for Lupus. I take 25 supplements a day. Thank you!
Algorithm 👍🏻
2 cent question but is organ function the best way to measure damage or are there other ways?
The author of the blue zone series Dan Buettner says if you want a supplement eat a bean and that the longest lived people dont take supplements.
The longest lived people don’t take supplements *yet*
Their longevity is mainly from the lifestyle / environment / their community and sense of purpose in life, not supplements or a diet. Not being poisoned by Chemtrails / Vaxxines / EMFs is also major 😉
What if the same Blue zone people took optimal supplements?
Are you talking about the people who ate food that had higher mineral content than the food we have now? For the same foods
The best method back then doesn’t implicate that it will be the best method for the future.
medication!
I always thought avoiding screens/blue light before bed didn’t make a difference based on how I feel, but when I look at the data it consistently improves deep sleep and stress levels during sleep.
I was indifferent towards it too. You’d be surprised the difference a $10 pair of bluelight blocking glasses can do. I get tired MUCH faster with them on in the evenings.
I bought a pair of those red dentistry protective goggles. They block out basically all blue-light, the only problem is that it gets kinda difficult to see red and yellow on white backgrounds while wearing them.
I just use the windows yellow filter and lower the screen brightness, it works wonders.
Something you also probably didn’t know, your brain shrinks from too much screen time
One of my favorite videos you’ve put out Siim! Love hearing your opinion on the future of longevity. Thanks for your hard work and sharing your knowledge
Have you tried taking acarbose?
Im vegan myself and i would say to also take d3 and iodine and omega 3s, also i sometimes take zinc but im not sure if its rly necessary.. i think u missed those in ur answer at 32:25
I take phosphatidic acid to regulate mtor because it’s supposed to help increase muscle mass. I don’t know what path it works on and if I’m shortening my lifespan but it does help with muscle growth.
Life expectancy has increased because we have improved mortality from preventable diseases, not because we have discovered some magic potion to expand human lifespan. Some supplements do seem to expand it a little bit but until we understand what actually specifically causes aging, I don’t expect much progress.
Wrong. (But I bet you attribute it to all the “healthy” shots, right?)
@dharma__3 Wow that’s quite a shout down without any supporting argument. Firstly, it is undeniable that over the decades, death from preventable diseases has improved as people moved out of poverty. Tending to counter this trend in recent years is in western nations where big food and farm-ah corps have taken control and want us all to be sick, so we see longevity dropping a bit. Also clearly obvious from the recent statistics related to the “say ff and effect I’ve” thing.
I’m enjoying your latest videos they seem more and more rational and not biased in a certain belief system. Well done!
Tongkat Ali freaked my doctor out cause of my kidney labs, quit the tongkat ali and we retested a month later and everything thing went back to normal
Thymus regeneration, thyroid optimization and decalcifying your pineal gland. Not that many people talk much about these. Keeping all hormone levels and immune system young is key. Focusing on single biomarkers will make you forget the big picture. Pushing a single biomarker positively higher or lower, other markers might change negatively.
I don’t think Creatinine damages your kidney function, it just creates more Creatinine, which will make it look like your Kidney function has declined.
We all dying bro. Born too soon for that.
A doctor on youtube talked about how fasting before bed raises cortisol and spoils sleep quality, and that you should have a snack before bed. Can you comment on that.
Sounds like a shill
What’s he selling a bedtime snack stack
100 percent Cacao always increases my HRV!
Is that bad?
Regarding supplements to prevent or reduce atherosclerosis, I’m curious about citrulline or arginine, as well as probiotics that increase NOS. I know you mentioned this in your book, but I don’t think you have a video on it.
I know there’s some studies suggesting citrulline extends lifespan in animals
Should collagen and hyaluronic acid always be taken on an empty stomach?
