PFAS chemicals are called forever chemicals because they stay in the environment for thousands of years. They’ve been found in our fat cells and breast milk and are especially problematic in our drinking water.

PFAS are linked to many health problems, including cancer, hormone problems, liver damage, and reproductive damage.

Forever chemicals are everywhere! They’re found in Teflon cookware, food packaging, and canned goods, and firefighters are exposed to them when they use their foam.

PFAS were first introduced into the environment in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Companies used loopholes by conducting their own studies to classify their products as GRAS (generally recognized as safe).

To avoid the toxic side effects of PFAS, you should limit your exposure and build up your body’s tolerance to these toxic chemicals.

The EWG (Environmental Working Group) evaluated 25 PFAS chemicals and found that only 3 water filters could effectively remove them from drinking water: Travel Berkey Gravity, Clearly Filtered, and Zero Water. Because the water supply exposes you to many of the forever chemicals, it’s a good idea to invest in a good water filter.

Forever chemicals build up in the body but don’t come out very easily. Here are some of the ways you can eliminate PFAS from the body and minimize their health effects:
•Sweating
•Autophagy
•Infrared light exposure
•Consuming spirulina and chlorella

    • Exactly. Same crew who claimed that grains, cereal and carbohydrates were the base of Food Pyramid and that Fats were to be avoided. No wonder millions of us ended up with severe intolerances to gluten and grains later in life.

    • The USDA is not far behind the FDA. Juuuust a tad bit more oversight in the USDA … at least when it comes to food contamination that is.

  2. You Americans really need to get up and kick off against a lot of things such as the FDA and your healthcare system (for starters).

    • No doubt. The more sick tired and broke every one gets the less we fight for our rights. Watching it happen in a sea of compliant peeps is quite terrifying

    • Americans are unfortunately a bunch of pushovers. We have been systematically taken advantage of for decades. Nothing will happen. Americans won’t reach for their rifles and do what the FRENCH DO. Hold their gawd damn government accountable. Even by force.

  3. I’m a professional fisherman and I train athletes. Over 75% of the fish that I catch I’ve tested and they do have medicine in them. I couldn’t believe it

  4. There is a very troubling documentary about Forever Chemicals.

    After watching it, I switched all my kitchenwares to cast iron, stainless steel and ceramic. I drink from stainless steel glasses. I run my household water for drinking through three different filter systems. I eat more meat and much fewer grains and veggies. My biggest concern now, is getting away from smart phone and computer usage.

  6. I came from a samll island in Hong Kong. I remember the years I could drink from the wells and rivers on the island and fishing in the ponds and seasides. The whole island was my little paradise. It was a wonderful chidhood and a good time. The last time I went back about thirty five years ago, it was heart breaking and horrified me. The rivers were either dried up or look at sewages. The seasides turned like a gabbage dump and I did not even want to dip my fingers in the sea water. It was thirty five years ago and the childhood image of my village turned from a paradise into a filthy dump. I do not want to go back to my childhood home town any more. I do not know how to put the feeling to you but to see the change of Hong Kong myself, I fully realize what price we are paying for the so call of progress of society ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

    • This is happening all around the world, mostly near big cities. Because governments anywhere are corrupted by big industries, only I can think is to consume less, buy less, keep what’s possible longer, eat natural… so this should make a difference at least in a decade. At the highest peak of COVID in 2020 when the shutdown was imposed in a about one month I saw a temperatures and emissions global map with a significant decrease due to activity stop or slow down. I believe it’s possible to save ourselves, now.

    • Its a combination of the failure of governments, and more recently in general, secular society & the companies comprised of society who no longer hold themselves to high personal, moral, ethical standards. As a Christian, I would argue to two main precepts which laws of many cultures have been lost; – Love the Lord with all your might; – Love thy neighbor as yourself.

  7. My grandma used to say the Teflon frying pans were bad when I was a kid and I never understood why but I just always listened. I still use sterling silver pans that have been in my family for decades. They are still like new and cleaner than the Teflon pans that slowly scrape off over the years into your food.

    2. Build up your own bodies immunity and tolerance to these
    3. Buy good water filters
    4. Detoxify with detoxification (eggs, garlic, onions , fermented red cabbage (not cooked), selenium, copper iodine from sea food, brazil nuts, shell fish, etc.)

  10. In my teens, for six years, my brother and I drank pure raw milk. All we wanted! One cow makes a LOT of milk! We also had home made butter and cheese. We raised our own meats too. Mutton, pork, chicken and ducks. We NEVER got food poisoning. But, we did develop nearly bullet proof immune systems. In my late 60s now, on absolutely NO (so called) medications, no allergies, and healthy as a working horse!
