Vitamin D is the most important vitamin! It’s a fat-soluble vitamin involved in 10% of our genetics.
Vitamin D won’t work unless you have enough magnesium, the second most important nutrient. Magnesium is involved with 300 different enzymes and plays a vital role in regulating excess calcium. Magnesium glycinate supplements have the best absorption rate.
The more vitamin D you take, the more magnesium you’ll need. Some negative side effects associated with vitamin D, such as nausea, heart palpitations, muscle cramps, and headaches, are actually symptoms of a magnesium deficiency.
Don’t take vitamin D without the important cofactor, vitamin K2. Vitamin D helps you absorb calcium, but you need vitamin K2 to drive it into the bones and teeth to keep it out of the soft tissues.
Vitamin K2 is best for calcium buildup. Take 100 mcg of vitamin K2 for every 10,000 IUs of vitamin D3.
Zinc is another important cofactor that helps you convert cholesterol into vitamin D. If you’re taking 10,000 IU of vitamin D, you should also take 20 mg of zinc.
One of the biggest vitamin D mistakes is not taking enough! You need at least 6,000 to 10,000 IU of vitamin D3 every day. Vitamin D2 does not work like vitamin D3.
The vitamin D detected in the blood is not the active form. This means you could have normal blood levels of vitamin D but still have vitamin D deficiency.
Statins and steroids can inhibit your ability to make vitamin D and its ability to work in your body. The best time to get vitamin D from the sun is between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

I like the new style intro. Little music. Big words on screen. Graphics. Nice.
Always info we can trust. Thank you
This was an excellent informative video. Do you have a list of all of these items you talked about, how much of each and what time of day we should take them?
Parroting Dr Berg notes as i usually do best:

Thank you Dr Berg!
😺👍
And thank YOU, Fidel!😻💙
👍🏾 cheers
Thank you
Thank you so much
He didn’t mention how much magnesium to take tho????
You have helped me so much 🙏 my health has improved amazingly with your nutritional advice 💜
I take 6000IU a day, along with K2, magnesium and zinc. I strained my back a few weeks back, I took an anti-inflammatory med to help but it only reduced the pain briefly. It wasn’t until I upped my Vitamin D to over 15000UI daily that I saw improvements. Happy to report I’m back to normal now.
That just happened to me and ironically I take 5000IU at breakfast and 1000IU at dinner. I also take alo tof MAg and Zinc
❤
YES Vitamin D will fix a backache by making all your muscles stronger, i have seen old men walking bent over for years stand straight and walk without pain after taking D-3 for days.
Hooo I take way more, like more than 10 000iu every single day
The key word is: uptake. Thanks for the K2 and magnesium info. Other than that… the shrinkflation at present is appalling. One brand where I used to get a 650 count is now relabeled and is a sad 300 count – at about the same price/in the same bottle. We are being robbed.
When greed encourages playing with people’s health so blatantly, and more broadly everyday, you just have to wonder how self-hating do those people have to be? Benefiting from others suffering (there are millions who can’t afford vitamins,) is not sanity or humane.
Also, I’m sticking up on everything I can before January 6th. Who knows what will take place and I’ll use it eventually.
Of course, who would have thought. Sun screen only blocks the good stuff you want.
Best video on D3 ever
Holy Cow! Everything I watch your videos I learn more. I was taking MgO2 with my 15000 D3 k2, ang getting headache and palpitations. Your the best!
What is mgo2? My sister has constant headaches and palpitations also that’s why I am asking
@@MoDrox-hy2xxmagnesium oxide I believe.
Magnesium (Bis)Glycinate is really palatable, a lot of tablet form supplements have magnesium stearate as an ingredient.
Okay I found magnesium peroxide is mgo2 so you were taking that and it was giving you a headache and palpitations and you switch to glycinate apparently and all was good thankfully ….if I understand it correctly
@@MoDrox-hy2xx glycinate has better absorption and less side effects that the cheaper forms like oxide has.
If you need magnesium for brain function then you would give Magnesium L-Threonate a go
I like that his information gets STRAIGHT-TO-THE-POINT!!!!!!!🧡
Thanks Eric! If you read book “The 23 Former Doctor Truths” you will exactly know what is Eric talking about here. Modern industry is killing us quietly.

Maybe he meant “The 21 Former Doctor Secrets?” it’s on Amazon.
@@MisterSkinnyJeans 👍 My thoughts exactly.
Because of you, I stopped using sunblock and 5000IU vitD3 only. I bought your 10000 D3 K2 (+ magnesium and zinc) for a daily basis and stopped avoiding the sun. Thank you.
@@lovemyself3039 just wondering if you used to wear sunglasses extensively too or if your avoidance was purely “skin protection/cancer prevention” mentality
@@Infiniti25where do you buy his d3 k2 magnesium?
Shop dr berg
@@junebug9348 his website or Amazon. The magnesium is separate.
@@Infiniti25i’ve heard someone of the keto comunauty explain that your eyes need to « see » the sun for the brain to tell the body what to do with the sun rays. So I do not wear sunglasses 😊.
I’d been taking 5000 IU for over a year when I learned about K2 and added that. Only in the last month have I learned about magnesium and added that. Once I started taking magnesium a few things started to improve. Doctors never talk about vitamins or supplements. In fact, I realized that in all the years of discussing statins, the only thing discussed was how my LDL wasn’t at goal. Never do I remember anything about diet and carbs or inflammation or vitamin D synthesis and statins. Absolutely nothing except LDL and HDL.
I have a real problem with magnesium so can’t add that.
Insanely informative. Must folks don’t know this and even less doctors.
I have Graves disease, i took 30K IU with magnesium and K2. Big thanks to Dr berg! I stop medicating tapdin. God bless you and Mabuhay ka doctor! ❤
Interesting points! It’s amazing how much misinformation is out there. ‘Health and Beauty Mastery’ by Julian Bannett totally changed my perspective on what we’re told about health and wellness. Highly recommend for anyone who wants the full story!
