  2. Not impressed by his promotion of catuaba. Yes, it could be an effective supplement. But he’s promoting it before it’s been studied and before he’s even tested it fastidiously on himself.

    • I do actually fancy trying it tbh. Would be good if he done samples. Especially since it’s a new company. $50 is alot to spend on something which may not have much impact. Swanson also does Catuaba for $8 so I’m not sure why it’s so pricey?

  3. The resistance training recs in here are completely baseless. The more advanced the trainer, the less volume required as neural adaptations have already maxed out allowing quick access to HTMUs. And on the compound exercise argument – any testosterone increase from those is transient and more a product of overall effort rather than exercise selection. There’s no feedback mechanism that dictates which exercises are “more natural”. All movements are natural – otherwise they could t be performed. Bottom line is that most people just don’t train hard enough with an appropriate amount of volume. If you’re not experiencing regular progressive overload your training sucks. I suggest host and guest look into Chris Beardsley for clarification on these issues. As for the cardio/catabolic argument, agree to an extent. Moderate intensity steady state is problematic. But LISS is fine.
