  2. Flan – Mexican Sugar Free
    Ingredients:
    * 2 cups unsweetened almond milk (or use heavy cream)
    * 1 cup heavy cream
    * 1 cup sweetener (I used ยฝ for caramel and ยฝ for custard)
    * 6 Eggs
    * 1 tsp vanilla extract
    * ยฝ tsp cinnamon
    * 9โ€ Pyrex Dish
    * Baking sheet
    Directions:
    Caramel sauce
    1. In a small saucepan, add 1 Cup of Allulose.
    2. Cook on medium heat, brig to simmer
    3. While stirring, allow to turn into an amber color
    4. Remove from heat and then pour into prepared Pyrex Dish covering the bottom.
    5. Wash pan out immediately, or it will harden.
    Preheat the oven to 350 F

    Custard
    1. Crack 6 Eggs in a separate bowl.
    2. Add ยฝ Cup of Sweetener,
    3. Add 1 ยฝ Cup of Heavy Cream
    4. Add vanilla extract
    5. Whisk it all together.
    6. Grease the walls of pyrex dish so itโ€™s easier to release when flipping
    7. Pour Custard mixture onto Caramel.

    1. Put Flan Pyrex dish into baking sheet
    2. Place into heated oven
    3. Add boiling water to baking sheet (1 inch of water)
    4. Bake for 45-50 minutes. Make sure the cake is done by checking it and making sure it comes out clean.
    5. Pull out to cool for 30 minutes
    6. Place into fridge for 4 hours.
    7. Run a knife alone the edges to release the Flan.
    8. Carefully flip over into serving dish

  3. Allulose is proving to have extra benefits as it increases the levels of GLP-1 a hormone that helps regulates blood sugar and control appetite. It is being seen as working similar to ozempic. Apparently some people have difficulty tolerating it at first and can have nausea but apparently that is because it is triggering the GLP-1 so persevere. Dr Boz has just put out a video where she discusses it.
