  1. Love this. I have my own recipe. And I actually grind my chicken up, with a little pork fat (for extra juicy sandwiches). I, then, make the patties and coat them in flour/plain protein powder/whatever you like. I freeze them for 30 minutes. Then I dip them in a batter made of the same powder, with some seasonings, like salt, garlic. Onion powder, WHITE PEPPER, and freshly ground black pepper (alot). I freeze them again now for about an hour, and get my oil preheated to 350° f and cook them til golden. It’s so good. Tastes are VERY similar to McDs because it has that same texture inside, but it taste cleaner and fresher. ❤

  2. I am so glad you shared this. I have tried a new McCrispy from McDonalds and it is very good but I felt so guilty about eating it and I was thinking how can I eat a low carb version? Thank you and yes please share air fry recipes. I really wish I could pay someone to cook all my meals! LOL

  4. Great tip on mustard. Considering I like my In-n-out burgers “mustard fried”. More airfryer recipes too. FWIW , air fryer is one of the best ways to make Tandoori Chicken without a tandoori. Make a tandoori marinade(ideally overnight) and just cook it in there. Indian chef recommended me that way if one doesnt have a tandoori(thats the way they made it at home!) . Also great for pork belly kebabs.

  6. Marinate chicken in mustard?! Now that is something I will try. I don’t use protein powder but often use sweet potato starch which works out well for shallow frying.

    • Haven’t tried it on chicken but we marinade our country style pork ribs in mustard, low sodium soy sauce and some adobo (because I’m Puerto Rican lol) and they come out absolutely delicious! 😋

  7. I love the idea and will probably use almond flour. Protein powder is so expensive where I live to use in this way. Homemade is always so much better ❤

    My dad taught me to season with Mustard and is so tasty as a seasoning for all types of meat and that includes FISH. I cover my fish with mustard and lemon, salt and pepper too and wrap it aluminium foil then off to the oven for as long as it needs (depending on the size of the🐟)

  12. This protein powder bread crumb chicken is awesome so funny I made this on a chicken breast yesterday but took the protein powder part from from your buffalo chicken recipe its awesome and so are you Ive learned loads thank you lovely 🥰 🙏🏻

  13. You can also wrap the breast in plastic and pound it out like a cutlet. It should come out about plate size and it will be consistantly even in thickness and cook much faster. You can leave it whole or cut in half, thirds, or into four pieces and size your sandwich to your liking.
