  1. I love these videos about alternative ordering at restaurants. Please do a Mexican place. I love Mexican restaurant food and always fall off the wagon. First of all, the chips and salsa…then I just go for the beans and chimichangas! I’m so weak! Lol.

    • My mom and I went recently to a Mexican restaurant. We had a salad with grilled chicken and I even ate 3 chips with the salsa. It was so hard to stop lol but I put the salsa on my chicken and we ordered guacamole too so it was yummy.

    • I just get the fajitas and bring my own tortillas. No bean and no rice. I ask for a salad with no dressing and bring my own dressing. Easy peasy.

    • I went to weight watchers you can have 12 chips is a serving get Fehitas put it on your chips all the salsa you want.. Take the rest home for another meal.

    • Yes, and I have brought a baggie pork rinds. I felt like the salsa was the least calories of the dips and I would get grilled chicken and veggies and it was so good. I had my Mexican food fixed.🎉

  2. I adore Olive Garden, especially the Alfredo sauce, but I had to give it up. They make it with butter, cream, and Parm and Romano cheeses of course, but also flour and milk. Sadly, I can’t go near carbs or I react. So I just make homemade Alfredo with just butter, cheeses, and heavy cream. Sometimes I add a little cream cheese too hehe. Cheers! 😊

    • I mean, technically it would still be pretty low carb I suppose, just not zero carb, which is how I feel my best. It’s why I have to look up every little ingredient from restaurants if I want to eat out. Which is the only reason I know it has flour and milk in it. I have to be extremely careful. I wish it wasn’t the case, but…that’s life. Cheers! 😊

  3. That is amazing to substitute noodles with broccoli 🥦. I did not think they did not make big substitutions like that. Mayra maybe I am wrong, but can you still order lasagna and the lasagna it still be low carb but not keto low? I feel like a lot of the meals can be but you would have to really look.

  7. I was excited to see what you were going to suggest we eat at Olive Garden, because I couldn’t imagine HAPPILY eating low carb at Olive Garden…I was right!🤣😆
    There’s NO way I’m going to Olive Garden just to eat some chicken and broccoli. I might as well eat at home if that’s what I get to eat at the restaurant.🤣😆

    • Lol I totally get it! This is just an option. Sometimes it can come in handy if you’re out and about and last minute decide to eat out, but yea… broccoli isn’t going to satisfy a pasta craving. I’m not the biggest fan of pasta so I actually looooove this dish with broccoli 😋

      My order:
      Salad no croutons or Zuppa de Toscana (ask for no potatoes)
      Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo, sub noodles for broccoli and sauce on the side.

  8. This is a great choice, I’ll definitely try, but I’ll have to drive to get to an Olive Garden. I hardly go to any restaurants because they generally DO NOT offer much in the way of low carb. It’s SO frustrating, how hard can it be to offer low carb tortillas for wraps at Subway, for instance? Subway offers an “in a bowl,” but I don’t want to eat it in a bowl, I want a wrap! Living in a rural area, I don’t have many choices, but what few I do have offer very little in the way low carb. Really appreciate your “what to order” at restaurants, especially the chains.

  9. Wow, that portion size looks so small, even with the salad and Alfredo sauce! You mentioned you went to Olive Garden when you were younger. What would you use to order before you lost weight?

    • I used to love their chicken Alfredo. But it was so heavy on my stomach I make it a little different now.

  10. I often use jarred Alfredo sauce on my low carb diet. However, READ those labels. Some are made with starch and or flour and are higher in carbs. Others are very low carb. We love soup and salad at Olive Garden. I usually pick out the pasta and beans in the soup. The breadsticks aren’t what they used to be so they are easy to skip.

  11. I went to Olive Garden a few weeks ago and had the salmon with broccoli. It was cooked to perfection and very delicious!! I also had a bowl of soup and picked out the high carb items.

  13. Olive Garden’s grilled chicken is coated in flour (weird I know) and it is also in their Alfredo sauce. if you are Keto it will make you feel not great afterwards! Go for the steak and garlic Parm broccoli for sure 🙂

    • My daughter has celiac’s disease and must eat GF, however, she always orders this and hasn’t had a reaction. Did u work there? Because the staff say the chicken is GF and is not coated in flour.
