  2. I find it very very very difficult getting in enough calories to do sports and gain weight while adhering to health rules and not having chronic stomach pain. If you eat 2 times a day and don’t do lots of grains legumes nuts and oils / butter and not overdo the amount of eggs and meat and not eat too much sugar and fructose its actually even damn hard to reach 2000 calories let alone 3000.

    • You need to find foods that agree with you. Have you tried taking a digestive enzyme to see if it helps? Sounds like your not breaking foods down proper and it’s causing bloat.

      Another thing to do is just lump coconut oil into protein shakes. Honestly a 50g of coconut oil will add an extra 450 calories. That or a nut butter. Almond etc.

      It sounds harsh but I honestly believe that training in a calorie deficit is such a waste. You just won’t be adding any mass. I listened to Greg Doucette screeching that main gaining will add mass. I done it for 2 years and I never gained a single pound! I went into a 300-500 surplus and honestly my body just changed month to month. Strength increased. Felt better. A calorie surplus in my opinion is needed to gain mass and improve.

  3. Thanks. Would be interesting to see what your GrimAge2 result would be in addition to DunedinPace. Just saw recent talk by Steve Horvath on clocks and GrimAge2 but not sure if it available to public. I have only used the Levine PhenoAge blood panel aging test which put me in low 50s vs my real age of high 60s (about 17 years delta consistently over last 2 years). Have been near vegan, beans, brown rice, and potatoes included for over 10 years. Exercise moderately daily, with at least 5 miles of walking and have done 16/8 TRE for most of last 10 years. Suspect that interventions and clocks may work better (mathematically) on older people like me because our body is loosing homeostasis which is easier to maintain when younger.

  4. I like the fact that you show your actual test and pull up charts of the results of your experiment. Vs others (including doctors) just spit out information.

    • @Siim Land nah thank you man. People (including doctors) really be giving carbs a bad name. I mean I understand that too much is bad but that’s anything. As long as you’re active and mindful of caloric intake, that’s all we gotta worry about. Keep up the good work.

  5. Interesting, and it reinforces the notion that calories and quality of food matters a whole lot more than fat vs carbs. I will say though, regulating hunger has been easier for me on a high fat low carb diet. Having spent a big part of my life on refined carbs probably messed up my systems ability to handle carbs, and in particular sugar.

    • same if I eat carb as breakfast even if its low glycemic Im hungry every 2 hours during the day. I prefer being sharp mentaly during work not thinking about food

  6. Could you give a list of your carb foods and any you would stay away from, I feel much better when I include carbs in my diet.

  8. Can you list your caloric intake and macro ratios for 2020 compared to now? How low carb was your low carb and how high is it now?

  9. Siim I must admit, your facial structure has changed dramatically, I think you look sleek and good, but its so different ! I remember watching your 5 day fasting videos back when I lived in Australia, you looked different ! good for you mate

  10. Siim says, his only protein source is meat.
    But eats animals, that got theirs from grass, that grew in his yard.

  11. Can that result vary depending upon the specific health Constitution. In other words, might this result be very different for an older male who has a different start point and has developed metabolic syndrome and certain food allergies as a result? I would hypothesize this to be the case.
