Best thing I have found for HRV is a short breath in and a longer breath out when you breathe
Grounding to earth I feel makes me good.
I’m 66 and use a polar chest strap for HRV (Polar H10). Sleeping heart rate is 48 and closer to 60 in general resting rate (during normal activity). I train almost daily with cardio and weightlifting. About 2x per week its very intense, but I like Latin music!!!
I am pretty sure, thw music is thw missing link 😁

Oura ring gives a low and a high number. My HRV high number and recovery has improved a lot since I started taking Taurine.
I wear an Oura ring – I’m usually avg 20s in my HRV – my resting heart rate is around 64 avg. My age 42 and current weight 235 working out 5 days a week. Currently on TRT at 160mg a week. Any advice ?
Doctor said i had heart problems, because it didnt beat the same everytime.

You seems to saw regular vs irregular heart beats when you show HRV
Higher HRV doesn’t mean better, there is a lot of other factors. Some ppl have high HRV at 80 some other at 150.
An average HRV above 125ms seems to good to be true? My Oura ring several years ago also gave me something around 120 and today it’s in the 60ms. I was super worried that my health declined a lot in just a few years. Then I checked the data of my Apple watch which showed that my HRV was already in the 60s when Oura claimed it was around a 120. Maybe they introduced an algorithm change at some point or maybe their data is just not very good?

So what’s the difference between a high hrv and irregular heartbeats?
My HRV is 19-26 on average. My RHR is 57-59 on average.
