Never Get Fooled by Fake Olive Oil!
Spotting fake extra virgin olive oil is easy with these four tricks. Anyone can do it!
1️⃣ Check the Label: Fake olive oil is often mixed with canola oil, so scrutinize the label for authenticity.
2️⃣ Smell Test: If it smells rancid or oxidized, it's probably fake. Opt for the fresh aroma of real olive oil.
3️⃣ Bottle Color: Choose olive oil in dark bottles to protect it from sunlight. Quality manufacturers pay attention to this detail, but scammers won't.
4️⃣ The Tingle Test: A surprising method is checking how it tingles your tongue. Genuine olive oil might leave a sensation, while fake ones won't.
Never compromise on quality! Learn to spot real olive oil and elevate your culinary experience.

Woah nice
Is there a way to know if it is fake PRIOR to buying it?
Tingles do not guarantee legitness. Look for certifications and awards on the bottle. You can also contact the brand for confirmation and third party analysis results. Sounds like a lot of work, but you can buy it for life when you find the proper brand.
Good suggestions, but an easier one would be to buy from a reputable brand. One that preferably makes their olive oil in Italy or Spain.
Or Grece?
Should taste peppery I thought
Better stick with animal fats right from the animal fat itself.
More high quality content. Thanks again.
Olive oil from Syria is by far the most potent in the world. If you can’t find it then buy that of Italy , Spain or Morocco.
I have bought my Extra Virgin Olive as PrimmaDonna from Lidl UK supermarket and I think it is a MISTAKE because, among other things, it definitely does not taste peppery.
Siim, please get in touch with Bryan Johnson. He’s open to make a video.
