Let’s talk about how to fix the adrenal body type.
Your adrenals help adapt the body to stress—they have a lot to do with fight or flight. However, this system is meant to deal with short-term physical stress, not the chronic mental stress many people undergo now.
Trauma, chronic stress, or even surgery can lead to adrenal dysfunction. Adrenal dysfunction is also known as adrenal fatigue, adrenal burnout, or adrenal stress.
Top symptoms of adrenal fatigue or the adrenal body type:
• Low-stress tolerance
• Overthinking (especially at night)
• High blood sugar
• High cholesterol
• Fat in the liver and visceral organs
• Gastritis
• High blood pressure
• High pulse rate
• Asthma
• Inflammation
• Calcium deficiency
• Potassium deficiency
• Sodium deficiency
• Vitamin D deficiency
• Memory loss
• Brain fog
• Getting out of breath while climbing stairs
• Salt cravings
The best nutrients for adrenal burnout:
• Vitamin C (sauerkraut, bell peppers, leafy green vegetables, lemons, limes, and berries)
• Potassium (large salads)
• Sodium (sea salt)
• Vitamin B1 (unfortified nutritional yeast)
How to fix adrenal fatigue:
1. Decrease stress
2. Get on the keto diet with higher amounts of high-quality protein and nutrients that are good for adrenal fatigue
3. Exercise (high-intensity exercise and long walks)
4. Take adaptogens (ashwagandha)

Incredible that such a tiny little piece of body can have such an effect in our life 😮
Amazing indeed🤔
It’s almost 5am and I’m fully awake. I had a pituitary tumor years ago that wrecked my life but since then I’ve had these issues you described. I’m listening!!
same
I have been awake since 4am, body is so tired but brain is wide awake.
@EJ Waking up early is good, just go to bed earlier.
If you can’t fall asleep, get your diet cleaned up and start working out.
@Michael Archonaeus any supplement, any herb u know?
@EJ i cant stay asleep

Thank you Dr Berg! 😼👍
Thank you for recapping!
❤
Thanks!
I never understood how people do this. Is this a robot ??
@you r enough 💜 I’m sorry robot don’t have adrenal fatigue, they do run out of battery power though 😁
I’ve been watching a lot of you recently, Dr Berg. A big thank you, I’m not sure you know what a major difference you mean to the quality of the lives of those who tune in to you. ⭐️ I’m in Australia by the way, you stretch far and wide!
My husband and I are actually mid health experiment based on your videos, we’re excited by what we’re learning.
same here
This is a very delicate, complex issue , and few pay attention to it..unfortunately..
It is of tremendous importance !
Thank you very much , Dr. BERG !
Regardless that I’m actually an ovary type, I think these symptoms can interlap sometimes, however, probs like lack of sleep: might be solved with consuming probiotic drinks regularly. Thanks for the info Dr Berg 🌸
So glad Dr. Berg made this specific video. I have chronic adrenal fatigue. My protein is converted to sugar and I lose muscle mass. Diet, sleep, meditation, less over training and mindful stress reduction is going to be my ticket to succeed. I refuse to let others, especially the most troublesome people I can’t immediately rid myself from, dictate my happy place inside myself.😂🎉
I’ve just been put off work for burn out after years of overworking. I piled on 35 kg in that amount of time and my body is exactly as described. My body was aching all over, I had an inflammatory syndrome. I started a keto diet 1st July and lost 10kg already. I feel much better already. I realise that the constant stress was the problem
Keto seems to be really good for most people. However I’m on a healthy carboyhydrate diet and its not bad either. I excluded bread. and before I was on medication I could do IF 16-8 aswell.
For keto ,what are you eating as meals
Yup.. It’s rare that adrenal fatigue gets diagnosed but it does happen. Ironically both me and a colleague were found to have adrenal problems. Very hard to find it. I collapsed at work actually so landed in emergency room with a good practitioner. Lots of other health troubles, also executive function challenges, eventually a couple cancers, auto immune, diabetes, digestion issues, more. Wrote on this before. Found out I cannot detox chemicals well, so that caused, causes, major issues. Was fortunate to have run into some helpful practitioners. Adrenals improved with some herbal treatments and stress treatments. Quite serious situation now with work lack and loss of home. Doing what can. Years I couldn’t walk up stairs and spent nights in kitchen or days upstairs. Much improved but worried about recurrences of many issues due to lack of funds, help, self sufficiency. (Simple test with flashlight and pupils might be interesting for people to try).
Sounds like what I’m going through now , I’ve been to 4 doctors no diagnosis im having palpations with heart can’t walk up stairs without feeling out of breath anxiety early morning with lots of mucus runny nose sitting in front of the heater because I feel cold out of nowhere high heart rate a feeling of pressure in the collar of my neck bloating with breathing troubles stomach extended like I’m pregnant “im a male” 42 years old on certain days I feel normal ..I just don’t know what to do no one can help me or diagnose me . Dr berg’s videos help with nutrition info but only temporarily ..fyi this all happened after I went through a divorce I was very stressed i cant deny that but now I’ve moved on and am happy with my life and these problems are affecting my quality of life 75% …..thank you all for your comments at least we can give eachother some insight when the doctors give us no answers ❤
I was the classic Cushing’s syndrome body type. Through a proper human diet I removed the roughly ninety extra pounds I was carrying. After they found my muscle invasive bladder cancer they found the tumor on my adrenal. A suppression test showed it was putting out extra cortisol. Removal corrected my metabolism with a tremendous improvement in health. Not only physically but also mentally.
Excellent info as always! I’m so glad you put this all together in 1 comprehensive video! I have been sharing all the pieces with my Mom, but this will make it easier for her! I was in this state about a year ago… Thanks for helping me get my health and energy back Dr Berg! shared, of course! ✅
Glad to help!
When I was in my 40s, I had everyone of the symptoms you mentioned… All the irritability! Found out I was estrogen, dominant. I hardly had any progesterone in my system. Started on progesterone, and all the symptoms went away.
Hi Julie, do you mind telling me what kind of progesterone you use please?
I’m hoping that my issues will be solved by progesterone. Have to wait until December.
Hi Juli , plz can you share what kind of progesterone you use plz help I am dying to seek help
Sir, you hit the nail on the head this time 👍
The world we live in today is a lot more stressful in general if you pay attention to anything.
I need to work on things to lower stress- including meditation, which I don’t do enough of, outside of a normal God-consciousness.
I could probably get up after 4 hours sleep at 2a.m. and start my day but I know that wouldn’t last a long time before I got fatigued. Obviously 4 hours sleep is not enough.😢
Excellent Dr Berg, thank you. Just a note to all, meditation is not something we do. Its something that happens naturally w/o effort when we sit in stillness (no sound, no drink/food, take things out of your pocket, low light) and breath. And place your awareness in/on your body, especially where you need healing.
So the results from a Raglan test… my systolic went up by 39. I felt dizzy and faint immediately upon standing and had to sit. My doctor told me that was ‘normal’ and ‘nothing wrong’. He’s still ‘confused’ what my symptoms mean – pretty much most of the symptoms that you have listed in this video. I’ve been fainting a lot – and even I worked out it was shortly after standing and asked him if there was a link.
Thank you for the clear explanation Dr Berg, and the solution.
I too had adrenal fatigue in my late 20s, early 30s. It was miserable. Great video, thank you!
I have stayed up so many nights without sleeping one min. I suffered CSA and also have a rocky marriage. I have high stress and anxiety daily. Im exhausted. I have all these symptoms. I will definitely try this. Thank you Dr. berg
THANK YOU Dr. Berg I have been struggling with weight , awake all night or wake up at 2am and can’t go back to sleep on and on hearing my pulse in my ears at night. Your timing is as always perfect. Again Thank You.
You’re very welcome.
Thank you so much Dr Berg , I have adrenal insufficiency for almost two years now , all this started after I did a nissen fundoplication and it’s really been a roller coaster ride ever since , haven’t been given any clarity why I’m on chronic medication, will definitely be saving this video
Dr. Berg, I’ve gained so much understanding & insight on how my body works ( or doesn’t) through your videos…I can’t thank you enough for educating me with all of your profound informations & knowledge!! 🤗❤ I wish you could educate all the doctor’s I’ve encountered throughout my life, who would always dismiss my pain. It’s a shame how many medical professionals seem to have zero interest nor knockledge on finding the cause & only treat the symptons ( if anything!! ) You are a true gem, Dr. Berg & your work is paramount!! 🙏 Thank you so so much & stay blessed!!
