Be Informed: Inflammation-Causing Foods to Avoid!

What you eat can have a big impact on inflammation within your body. Stay mindful to feel less tired, reduce joint pain, and shed water weight.

1️⃣ Beyond Meat: Though marketed as a "healthy" red meat alternative, it contains canola oil high in omega-6 fatty acids, which promote inflammation.

2️⃣ Processed Meat: Hot dogs and burgers often contain nitrates and trans fats, leading to inflammation and water retention due to excessive salt.

3️⃣ French Fries: Most french fries are cooked in canola oil, abundant in omega-6 fatty acids that fuel inflammation.

4️⃣ Fried Chicken: Fried in canola oil, popular chains like KFC contribute to heightened inflammation through oxidation.

Choose wisely and prioritize foods that support your well-being. Opt for healthier alternatives to reduce inflammation and improve your overall health

  1. You should do the same video about surprising foods you should not eat (that people think are actually healthy). Because the ones in this video were quite obvious, at least to me

  2. Soy, corn, and cottonseed oil is also common. These oils are even higher in omega 6. Canola is actually one of the more balanced seed oils in terms of omegas. Still bad nonetheless.

    • @liemonthere’s a lot of proof that it doesn’t however it did prove some people may have allergic reactions. I still personally wouldn’t consume vegetables oils as they aren’t necessary in the diet. I get my fats from other sources.

  3. Do you have good research paper on Omega 6 causing inflammation ? I can’t find them and that’d help me when talking nutrition with my family

    • I wouldn’t worry about it. Most peer review papers don’t show any issues. I’m not sure where he got his information on Omega 6 because it really doesn’t jive with anything I nave seen in the journals. Snip: Hence, it is commonly believed that increasing dietary intake of the omega-6 fatty acids ARA or its precursor linoleic acid (LA) will increase inflammation. However, studies in healthy human adults have found that increased intake of ARA or LA does not increase the concentrations of many inflammatory markers.
