Let’s talk about the incredible health benefits of clove.
Clove is natural, and there is a lot of interesting research on using it to promote a healthy body. One of the most common ways to use clove is as a numbing agent for a toothache.
The essential oil in clove called eugenol produces many benefits. But it also contains a lot of other phytonutrients.
You can use clove oil or simply chew and swallow a piece of clove. You can also use clove oil topically on the scalp for fungus or pathogens. It may even help reduce the toxicity created as a byproduct of fungus.
Clove may help enhance the effects of an antibiotic, allowing you to use lower amounts of it.
Clove oil may also help inhibit H. pylori and improve peptic ulcers, gastritis, indigestion, gas, and bloating.
A certain phytonutrient in clove is an MAO inhibitor. MAO inhibitors are used as antidepressants. Clove even has anti-inflammatory effects, and data shows it has anticancer properties.
Clove is relatively safe, but consuming too much clove oil could create a toxic effect. You should avoid clove if you are allergic to it or are pregnant or lactating.

Bless him.
My grandmother and mother , always told me to chew when I had a fever or cold. 🇮🇳
💩
Yes doctor this clove really helped me during 2020 lock down. I developed severe tooth ache . Since it was total lock down i could not keet the doctor unless in emergency. I massaged the affected tooth and surrounding area with clove oil . I could manage it so well and after 4 months when they lifted the lock down with certain conditions i met the dentist who was very happy that there was no inflammation and the broken tooth was easily extracted.
It is indeed a wondeful condiment where here in India we use it in preparation of certain types rice and curry .
All subscribers would agree that you are an emissary of god
In Nepal too doc. 🇳🇵🙏❤️
For a tooth ache, also try a black, green or peppermint is my favorite, tea bag ( soak it first in warm water) and put on affected gums for 15 minutes. OMG it works for pain and lasted me a long time, like many days.
Where were you for only four month lockdown, Canada was nearly two years.
@Jim Eddy please don’t remind us!!
I was first introduced to clove after eating dinner with strong garlic and was told it will make my breath fresh and odour free, the 2nd time was when i had a tooth ache and just kept 2 cloves next to the tooth and it numbed it, so yes in turkish culture they use cloves in so many ailments😁👍
Excellent. Always found fresh parsley to be a great deodorant of garlic as well!
My grandmother taught me to use a clove to freshen my breath & I use it to this day. Who knew it had other benefits, as well.
How and when? Just chew it at anytime TY
@LTETobago chew one to freshen your breath whenever you think you need it.
I have small cup with 1/2 doz. cloves soaking for a few hours ,that goes in My Green Tea Daily !
Love cloves. ❤ It’s also wonderful as an aromatherapy agent. It’s great in scented candles and diffusers combined with other scents like orange and cinnamon, especially at this time of year. Thanks Dr B🌿
Thanks for the idea/ reminder👍👍😎🎃
@HWMOLIBERTY Certainly 🌞
Protect this channel at all cost… it’s a world’s treasure.
Yes! Dr. Berg deserves a million dollars and massive accolades for all his assistance to us! We have utilized greatly the self-care info that he has shared. And we feel better in so many ways!!!!!
Thks Doc!
We the loyal viewers need to give our Drs citizens award !!! They truly deserve it!!!
Just a caution. When using clove oil for dental pain, avoid swallowing it. It’s too concentrated and can have negative side effects. Chewing the whole clove is a safer option.
I mix it with castor oil and very little oregano oil, organic.
@Sarah Shiddianhow much Castor oil? Because, it’s such a powerful laxative!
you can use the clove not oil.
Dr Berg is a treasure im the mad times where healthcare is a mind field.😊
Mind field or Mine field? Probably both!! 😂
Typo, mine field but I thought mind field works too! 😜
Lost my leg in a mine field in Iraq, but I lost my mind in the mind field of America.
Clove has great flavor, maybe not straight but in general. Clove oil is decent mosquito repellant but I find the aroma I enjoy for a while becomes slight annoyance after a few hours in on my neck.
Thank you Dr Berg you are very much appreciated and loved I pray that your channel stays strong God bless you and your family 🙏❤
“If you do get healed, don’t mention my name” That’s priceless, Dr. Berg. They are jealous of your knowledge. We are appreciative.
Very much so!!
Prob as much to do with him being censured for misinfomation…which he has talked about.
😂🤣😂
One thing I noticed about Cloves is as a child we stuck cloves completely around an apple. We put the apple in the closet, our clothes smelled great and it kept moths away.
Years later the apple was not rotten
Really, wow!
We did oranges. In school every Thanksgiving season we stuck the cloves in an orange. Wrapped the orange in a colored thin netting material and tied a string of lace to it. It was a gift for our Mothers closet. To this day the smell is stuck in my brain. Heavenly!
We did it too but the apple and oranges got rotten for sure.
@Jo Standefer Maybe that person’s cloves had magical powers!
My morning drink five days in a week:
Garlic,Tumeric, cloves ,Ginger and organic honey .
It has really helped my immunity and general body condition
Do you make a tea with it?
This doctor is TOP SHELF ! He helps you from getting sick in the first place ! RESPECT !
Agreed!!!!
I’m an artist and use clove oil to prevent my oil paints from oxidizing too quickly. Depending on the pigment, it keeps the paint on my palette fresh (not hardening) from a few days to a couple of weeks.
I think I’ll try chewing a bud a day.. thank you.
@anneduff9294, thanks for sharing. That is very interesting that clove oil helps your oil paints. Love how people share information!
Chewing a bud sounds a great idea, but cloves work too.
Thank you Mr. Berg 🙏
We would like to see some vids on parasite control in our bodies. I think this is the root cause of many diseases.
Stay strong!
Agree…
I thought raw garlic was used for that
Papaya seeds crushed with honey helped me years ago and does keep most parasites at bay, but as a treatment it depends entirely on the type of parasite.
Wormwood extract. Cayenne. Garlic. Oregano oil.
We must keep Dr Berg on YouTube!
Thank you for your support.
This doctor saved my mothers life 2 times. 2 TIMES. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
