What topic would you like for me to go over next? ❤
Your workouts please
I don’t think this will be useful for the majority, but autoimmune and low carb. There are so many, but specifically Rheumatoid Arthritis. Thank you
I dropped the last 30 lbs started with over 80 lbs, but now I have put back 10 and am struggling to get it off!
I’m trying to workout soon it will not be over
Work out routine
Thank you for that it really does keep us motivated! One thing I’ve learned is I don’t like to use the word “lose” I believe that anything that you lose you 10 to find later on, so I like to use the word get rid of or drop. Thanks again.😊
Love that!
I needed this. Been in a plateu for a year exactly at 180. I am still breastfeeding my soon to be 2 year old, this video helped me focus on health over weight
I had weight loss surgery but sometimes I still binge, it just looks different. Little binges because my stomach is smaller now. I still have to be very careful not to regain my weight.
Thanks for sharing your experience it’s helpful to people who’ve had weight loss surgery too
I needed this. I’ve been doing Weight Watchers since February 2022 & I’ve lost 130 pounds with more to go. I lost 96 pounds the first year and since this February I’ve lost 34 pounds. Over the past 2 months my weight has been bouncing all over the place between 3 pounds. My doctor doesn’t seemed concerned. I have that diet mentality. I’m reaching a point were I’m afraid to eat anything good because I’m terrified of gaining since I’ve worked so hard to lose 130 pounds. I weigh every day. Even though everyone says I’m looking good and I’m dropping clothes sizes, that stupid scale rules. If the scale is not dropping I feel like a failure.
I am a keto lifestyle person and it has been sustainable for me for the last 2 years. I always had a goal of around 150lbs and I have been maintaining a weight of ~145lbs. I weighed about 165 in high school. I am 5’10” and feel great at this weight 😊
I have reached my goal of 5’6 138lbs You are so right I am freaking myself out about gaining Through this video I have learned that I am not prepared like I was loosing the weight Bingo Time to go to the grocery store
Thanks so much for your advice! I lost 97 lbs. 50 lbs. w/ the help of a nutritionist (the healthy way)! The last 47 lbs. I was sick & couldn’t eat anything but soup for six months! There’s a good & bad way of losing weight! (Unhealthy) Thanks for your tips & recipes especially the desserts!🥰👍🏻
I’m 71 years old and and tried Keto 5 years ago and got sick. I was diagnosed with diabetes 2 years ago. So, I’ve been doing a low carb lifestyle for 3 years. I’m 5 feet tall and weighed 212 lbs. I am now 165 and have been over 2 years and I am not on medication for diabetes. I control it with diet. So I had to make this lifestyle change. I’d still like to lose 10 more pounds but I am not concerned with any number. As long as I maintain this weight and keep my glucose numbers in check, I’m happy. Thanks for this video.
Superb job! I’m happy for your success. God bless you & yours!
Loved this. I have lived my life trying for a smaller body. I have been at good weight a couple of times iny 67 years, but always gained it back. I’m 5″11 and wanted to weigh in 130 lbs like my favorite models. Talk about unrealistic. My weight was at 190 and I thought I was so far. Now when I see old pictures I see I wasn’t as heavy as I thought. Now, I’m at 289 lbs and can’t lose crap. Your advise is so valuable and I can do relate. I’m so glad I found your channel.
I can relate to all you talk ed about in your video. I make my own low carb desserts, for that sweet tooth craving. I drink 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar mixed with 1 tablespoon organic lemon juice twice a day with sparkling water and that really works on curbing my appetite. I do about 18-19 hour fast daily without even thinking about it. I love your videos, you’re a beautiful young lady. Thank you for all that you do. God bless💕
Thank you for sharing! I can totally relate to this. With binge eating, I would tell myself, “I’m never eating ‘such and such’, ice cream, cookies, pizza…and then, I would go crazy and over eat those foods.
4:26 I want to hear your thoughts and advice on binging. I don’t feel that restriction leads to my binge, it seems to be more when I allow myself certain trigger foods like Doritos or Pastries or Chili Cheese Fries – certain things that just make me wanna triple my portions and finish with a decadent dessert.
UPDATE 11:55 yesssss thissssss
I could listen to you all day. You’re calm, you’re relatable, you make sense, you don’t preach……thanks for another great video!
This video is so important. I’m 72 now and my life was full of yo-yo dieting until last year when I had a TIA and wound up in the hospital. I was almost 200 pounds and 5’3”. I was prediabetic and my cholesterol was through the roof. That scared me so I started my journey to get healthy. So now I am no longer prediabetic, lost almost 40 pounds, and my cholesterol is now within normal range. I am now hovering at about 160 which I kept thinking I should be 140 because of those dang charts. Your video helped me to realize that if I just continue to eat healthy low carb I should be good. Thank you!!!! I am now going to concentrate on the healthy, low carb/keto lifestyle that I have adopted and use your other pointers to help maintain.
Congratulations & thanks for sharing your success story. I appreciate hearing good news…
especially about glucose control. I wish you MANY healthy years ahead.
Because of you, I learned to enjoy eating on a low carb diet. I use your recipes on your website, I cook using proper ingredients, the snacks and desserts, I have lost weight, thank you for all you do! Ps, I used to binge eat a lot, it’s rare now, but I do that. Please talk about it.
I loved this video!!!!❤❤❤❤ Would love to hear more about binge eating and restoring your metabolism! I wish I would have known about this when I lost 145lbs on a restrictive diet!
Thank you Mayra for this video. I’ve been on this journey a while now. Lost 80 lbs and was doing great but then with COVID and anxiety everything got crazy and I gained some lbs back. 😢 I’ve been trying to do what I did b4 and it seems not to work anymore. Listening to your videos I feel like I can do this again. One day at a time and don’t let the weekend fun get to me.
Thank you, Myra. At 62, I’ve yo-yo’d more times than I can count. Each time I’ve lost, I’ve lost my weight differently (this is normal). This time around, 40 lb down so far…my clothes fit better, I feel better, but I don’t look like I did when I’ve lost weight before. It’s okay though! Previously if no visible change was noted (by myself, or also because no one said anything about how much I’ve lost), I’d have given up. This time around, I’m not depriving myself. I’m not starving myself. I’m enjoying the journey. I donate platelets at the Red Cross…they have snacks and drinks afterwards. I bring my own protein-filled snacks. The one time I didn’t, I took the lowest carb item they had…a bag of chips. I didn’t worry over it. My mentality has changed. And my options for food have changed as never before have there been more keto-friendly recipes, ingredients, and channels like yours on YouTube. Anyone reading this…stay strong! Remember: we eat to live, not live to eat.
