So should i use it or not use biotin capsule
Can you listen, or? He said it plain and simple.
@Zeewhy can you just answer his question???
Yes
@Zeehe said those WORDS in a lil complicated way and ended it abruptly not all of us are geniuses like u. Either answer the question or just get going. No need to be rude
Do one on taking too much minoxidil.
Scary rashes it doesn’t take much to over do it
Minoxidil is like a double edged sword. Too little u end up losing ur hair and too much u get other side effects
Thanks Dr. Berg! ❤ I’m going to try the shampoo my hair had been falling out lately not sure if I’m lacking biotin or if it’s my hashimotos actually I was wondering if my thyroid levels are fine could I still have hashimotos?
Do you drink coffee?
@Kadee Mallory yeah just one cup in the morning
@kadeemallory320 What does coffee have to do with hair loss? 😅
Nothing at all.. If u drink an abundance amount of caffeine that can dehydrate your skin or hair..
@IAM369 actually there are so many people including myself that had severe hair loss form drinking one cup a day. That’s it! I was just trying to help
I’ve been using Zinc and Saw Palmetto for a few years now, hair grows a lot quicker, over 3 to 5 years I’ve only noticed minimal receding, maybe biotin is the supplement I need to add to completely stop any hair loss, but Zinc and Saw Palmetto are good as well 👍
Not really. Biotin is easily found in lots of foods. What you may need is vitamin d
@ijaz khan I take 4000 IU of VD every second day or so, I never thought to mention as it’s not as beneficial regarding hair but it’s still something everyone should take, folks might think 4000 IU is a little high but I’ve taken it for years and I’m sure I’ve avoided a lot of flus and viruses because of it, thanks for recommending it anyways.
What kind of zinc? Nobody is clear about it, some say picolinate is good and some that is not
@Pedro Giménez zinc picolinate has the best absorption. Best absorption doesn’t always mean you will get more benefits. Kind of like magnesium. Citrate form is better absorbed, but the glycinate form is more beneficial
So biotin oral supplements are safe to consume?
Thanks Dr. Berg❤🙏
You’re most welcome!
I’ve mix thoughts about biotin for hair thinning and hair loss. I’ve been taking biotin no more than a year. I’ve only taken from two different brand. The first brand I take it helped me to stop hair fall and thinning, also my nail got thicker and better. After one and half month gap I had to restart talking biotin as my hair and nail having its issue again. But the 2nd brand I’m taking currently it’s been 3 month but no significant improvement after taking it. While the first brand took just a month and half. I’m slowly losing hair and nail is thin now. Just my face, body skin isn’t dry/rashy that much and nail looks shinny. But I mostly wanted to my hair stop falling and become thick.
Alongside, I’m also taking zinc and D3. Can’t take D3 more than 2000mg per day as I get insomnia and stressed. D3 1000mg is idle for me. In the end nothing is helping that much to my precious hair😢
I make rosemary tea. It works great, I’ve been using it for 8 months. I noticed the difference. I sprayed on my head every morning at night. And massage😊
Biotin supplements give me terribly cystic pimples and biotin shampoos make my hair break off
Biotin can be absorbed through the skin. What about eye drops? I’ve had to use eye drops for dry eyes and I noticed that it has glucose in it? I’ve often wondered having chronic dry eye recently using eye drops everyday am I absorbing sugar?
Why are you the most handsome man ever ❤
I use a biotin hair conditioner and I love it. For shampoo, I use lavender + jojoba + rosemary. I do not consume biotin 10k mcg anymore. It doesn’t work and causes me to get more weight. I consume vitamin B complex supplements that contain biotin but not that much. I also need zinc for my oily and acne-prone skin. Maybe I should take a palmetto supplement for PCOS women and hair loss. I am so afraid of using minoxidil.
I have a lady mustache and an irregular period. I’ve heard using minoxidil and leaving it overnight may cause hair growth on unwanted facial areas. I use pumpkin seed oil + rosemary oil + jojoba oil now. I am still working on hair growth treatment.
Maybe my acne problem and hair loss are caused by male hormones and too much stress. 😔
I do eat an egg yolk (every day) and goat milk (sometimes). But my hair fell badly and I get bald now. 😭 Maybe fish oil is needed. I cut sugar as much as possible. Thanks to Dr. Bergg’s videos.
What you’ve said here has hit a note with me in so many ways. Although not 100% the same I have similar issues and have always wondered what caused them, I was wondering whether I had a testosterone/progesterone imbalances besides maybe a deficiency in B7 Biotin (which I’m going to look into) separate to the hormonal imbalances and health related issues that I experience from my diagnosed Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis and Hypothyroidism and other autoimmune issues/symptoms I have. The medical staff tell me I’m implicated .. my issues are complicated, which in layman’s terms mean they have no idea!! I’ve been trying to shampoo/condition more with natural products but haven’t considered or looked at whether Biotin is in the ingredients.
Dr. Berg, I hope you make a video about treating chronic pelvic infections in women with PID. My doctor told me that infections in the pelvis come out of the vagina. If I treat vaginal infections, is it possible to cure PID?
How to find out if you have subclinical deficiency without doing special tests
Thanks Dr. Berb❤🙏🏼
You’re welcome!
Between fasting and covid I started losing handfuls of hair. I started taking veg biotin gummies and after about 4 months I am only losing strands after brushing.
Thank you Dr
My doctor has recommended me to take 36 mg supplement of B1 biotin (combineed with 400 mg B9) because of my neuropathy. So far it has been of help.
Biotin supplements give me horrible headaches.
The graphic of the biotin capsule in the video looks like it says B1 rather than B7. I had to look it up again as I thought B1 was Thiamin, which it is. As a visual learner it was confusing.
I’m hoping you can help me with this I’m 60 years old and I have noticed probably within the last year my scalp being very tender some people say when you touch your hair your scalp hurts what could be causing this and is there anything that I can do? Used a scalp detox that seems to help but it is short-lived any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
