This was the only herb that worked for me. It solved all my anxiety and sleep problems. Lowered my blood pressure, increased my testosterone and helped increase my exercise stamina.
Powerful stuff. I recommend it 100%!
EDIT: Make sure you take the KSM-66 extract for maximum benefit.

Lots of trees in Indian homes in Fiji, will definitely take it since I have Health issues you have mentioned here.thanks
How many MG you take a day?
What brand you buy.theres a lot of brand with ksm 66
This herb also helped me with my extremeeeeee menstrual pains ( fainting, vomiting diarrhea, bloating.. you name it). I believe it helped to balance my hormones and now my menstrual pains are wayyy more manageable. So happy I found ashwagandha.
I take spearmint and turmeric for period too
Thank you Dr. Berg for another amazing informative video.. I learned a lot from this 💪💪
Glad to hear that. Thanks for watching the video.
@DrEricBergDC lol. I read this video as say Ayurvedic.
Lol. My silly self.
But thank you much for this take about ashwaganda. I’ve always heard it’s good just forgot for what.
Dr Berg! I am your admirer and follower from India.
Yes! Certain brands of Ashwagandha gives hyper energy, and we must be able to handle that energy by spending it.
Please make a video on ‘Brahmi’ herb which has equal and even more good qualities than ashwagandha.
Brahmi relieves stress, very much effective for Alzheimer’s, brain fog, ADHD, removes toxins from brain , cures insomnia, improves cognitive skills, memory, Speech, relieves stress and anxiety, so on and so forth.
The word Brahmi denotes Goddess of Wisdom-Brahmi.
All the best Dr Berg.
@krishnakumariyellampalli. Hello. I’ve been adding ashwagandha and brahmi together in my (large) morning mushroom coffee. I love it!! Thanks for the info. Brahmi is an excellent herb and I also use it with henna in my hair. Many blessings.
Thank you for the other herb recommendation. I have not tried that one. I heard of it awhile back but forgot about it and didn’t look it up for suppliers availability.
Ksm 66 form
Amazing teaching lessons love your videos thank you Dr Berg
I tried Ashwagandha many times over the years; every time I got really nervous & just scared of the world in general after a few days of consumption; anxiety & fear so bad I just wouldn’t be able to do anything… quite crazy.
Anyways a few weeks back I finally tried the KSM-66 version of Ashwagandha extract (I’ve never tried this one in the past as it’s usually the most expensive one, but also regarded as the gold standard for Ashwagandha extract); my experience is completely different, it’s like I’m taking a completely different supplement.
Basically the KSM-66 extract gives me the benefits that Ash is supposed to give, while any other form of extract (or ground up root powder) made me nervous, anxious & just not great in general.
So I’d personally recommend to anyone to try the KSM-66 version of any quality brand :3
+ one to that!😮 Got panik anxiety and really worse pms. Mayby I try ksm66. Thank you!
Thats what happens when you overdose Ash.
Maybe try starting out with small doses if you are senstive to the effects. I am up to a full teaspoon 1-2 times per day now and no problems now that I’ve adjusted. Can’t live without it and other herbs.
Ksm form is the best, been taking for years at this stage and don’t know does anything but benefits seem good to keep taken, swim fit resting heart rate around 50
Thank you Dr. Berg you are one of the best. Keeping us well informed and healthy
Thanks Doc! Been taking Ashwaganda with 5htp, magnesium glycinate, vitamin D – never felt better!
Hey Dr berg, your work over the years is phenomenal. Wondering if you could tap into the FULL amino acid profile and protein complex. All 9, dosages, benefits, how the synthesis works during sleep and consumption, what is the body doing and how often should it all be bio-available/times should be taken when and why in your OWN words. Would be cool thanks.
Thanks for the video suggestion!

Thank you Dr Berg for all these useful informations. Please continue to educate us more about minerals and vitamins. I took Dr Berg’s 10 to 12 capsules of vitamins every day divided morning and evening. Am I taking too much vitamins? I hope there will be a video about this in the future. Thanks again Dr Berg. Some of the vitamins I took is for my after surgery recovery.

Ive also heard that Ashwaghanda is a good natural glutamine inhibitor…meaning that if anybody is using prolonged fasting to starve cancer, Ashwaghanda can be used to stop glutamine dependant tumours from receiving their fuel.
I started taking ashwagandha supplements about one year ago, and I’ve noticed some extremely positive changes in how I handle stress and anxiety. Before incorporating ashwagandha into my routine, daily life-related stress used to keep me up at night, and I often found myself feeling overwhelmed during the morning. Even a short trip to the market or office used to make me anxious. After a few weeks of taking ashwagandha consistently, I began to feel more grounded and less reactive to stressful situations. I noticed a subtle but definite improvement in my overall mood. The constant background anxiety seemed to have almost disappeared, and I found it easier to focus on tasks without feeling jittery or overwhelmed. Apart from that, my sleep quality has greatly improved. I usually wake up in the morning feeling fresh and hopeful. Moreover, I have become physically active and usually go for 1-hour morning walk, avoid junk food, and spend more time with family and friends.
Your testimony or comment has really motivated me. Bless you and thank you. have a terrific weekend
When do you take it?
Hi Dr. Berg I tried the ashwagandha capsules and felt deeply depressed. I had to stop when I realized that this could be due to that. I know it because of the fact that it was the only new supplement I had tried at the time. And when I stopped i was feeling well again. I tried reintroducing it a few weeks later and it did the same thing. Can you please tell me why?
Been taking it along with ginseng which has recently been shown to have similar adaptogen properties.
I was looking into this and found it is also helpful for cats and dogs , do you agree with pet use also?
Thank you for the helpful information as always Dr. Berg. I keep hearing some horror stories about people experiencing chronic “emotional numbness” after taking Ashwagandha. Can you shed any light on this?
Dr Berg !
Can you also please talk about herbs like Amalaki and Brahmi. They seem to have lots of antioxidants and benefits but would want to know about a medical perspective to it.
