Today, I’m going to cover the best natural ways to regrow hair.
Whether you’re losing hair, your hair is thinning, or you have alopecia—these tips for hair loss may help.
Hair is protein, and protein is made of amino acids. Lysine is a specific amino acid that greatly impacts hair growth. Lysine also helps make hair stronger and more elastic.
The best foods for hair growth are foods high in lysine, like red meat and eggs. Consuming six to eight ounces of high-quality protein twice a day will give you the protein you need.
Many people experiencing hair loss are low in iron. Red meat and eggs are high in iron, and lysine helps increase iron absorption.
When you go through stress, your body’s demand for lysine goes up. If stress is causing you to lose hair, you may want to try increasing your protein consumption. To regrow hair, it’s also crucial to lower your cortisol by reducing your stress.
Inflammation or a malabsorption issue in your gut could lead to a deficiency in lysine. Consuming grains or seed oils can lead to inflammation. If you have gut inflammation, you may want to try the carnivore diet.
It’s also important to support your gut microbiome because your gut microbes make amino acids. A disruption of your gut flora can cause a disruption in the microbes on your scalp. This can lead to issues like dandruff and skin disorders. A probiotic supplement or probiotic foods may help promote healthy, thick hair.
A powerful form of testosterone called DHT has been known to cause hair thinning or hair loss. Zinc is a fantastic natural DHT inhibitor, and it’s in red meat. Lysine also helps inhibit DHT.
Lysine is important to support a healthy body and has many other health benefits that may indirectly help with hair loss and support hair growth.
Great natural remedies for hair loss are:
• Pumpkin seed oil
• Green tea extract
• Stinging nettle root
• Nutritional yeast

As a Master Cosmetologist, it’s also genetic ! 😊 Unless u have an autoimmune disease, u won’t understand how horrible it is to deal with losing your hair. I also have Hashimotos and diverticulosis which doesn’t allow me to eat BEEF. 😢 I have switched over to fish, and bison. ❤ Also I can’t eat gluten or dairy. Do u know how hard it is ?! 😢 It sux cause it affects your weight as well as your body temperature. I’m always freezing ! 😢
My mom had beautiful hair. And so did I, Hashimotos and gut issues have taken much of it now. May u keep your beautiful hair ! ❤

How many times in week do you apply oil on your hair ?
That’s great. Thanks for sharing what helps you. Take care.

Thanks, Dr. Berg! The quality of meat, eggs, avocados, dairy, lemons, garlic, seafood, sea salt, pecans, pistachios, and the proper supplements is most important❗️ No way around Healthy Keto 🏆

Can you be present in all of his future videos? We need these comments Set your alarm in the morning we need you!!!
Among all your many videos on hair growth, hair beauty, ect, the data on vitamin D absorption were the most helpful to my hair growth. I have been experimenting since last Spring with higher amounts of your d3&k2 for a few months and restarted last september for a few months ect. It seems most helpful.
I went carnivore almost a year ago and at 60, not only did my locs stop thinning; but they stopped graying so quickly!!!
Same here… love the difference!
I really want two try this but not long periods of time because I like Vegetables
Been keto for awhile and the color in my hair comes and goes depending on my diet. This is interesting, anti aging.
Dr. Berg’s videos are always informative and cool as an iceberg. Yes, all 4.9K of them dating back 14 years ago. Thank you doctor for all you do for the entire world.
Thanks Dr Berg. I have been taking hair formula for a while along with applying the serum. It has reduced the HL significantly (not sure about the reversal).
Few other things I’ve noted is – low in stomach acid dramatically increases hair loss (plus antacid & antibiotics is a lethal combo), getting good sleep, increasing blood platelets, increasing blood circulation in scalp to help detoxify clogged up follicle is good.
I’d like to make a request regarding the Korean Red Ginseng dosage in the formula. Unfortunately, I’ve experienced headaches, and after cross-checking with KRG tea, I’ve identified KRG as the likely cause. I’d appreciate it if the dosage could be lowered, as I can currently only tolerate one capsule per day.
As per the serum, I’ve come across studies suggesting that peptides and caffeine may enhance density when topically applied. It would be nice to get these incorporated as well into the solution if the information is true.
Can you imagine if doctor Berg was your teacher?? He explains things so easily that we’d all ace his corse!!
Course
Even our spelling without depending on spell check…haha
I wouldn’t want to leave the classroom!😊
I can tell you’re truly dependent on Grammerly and was raised on having your “computer” do all the work for you. (It’s just now you’re left to your own devices to .. at best “Express Yourself.”)
@@fardinrahman4047 I know how it’s spelled. It’s just a simple typo.
Doctor Berg you never cease to amaze me… thank you for all free education you provide us.❤
My pleasure!
1. **Importance of Lysine for Hair Growth:**
– Hair is primarily composed of protein, specifically collagen, and lysine is a crucial amino acid for strong and elastic hair.
– Lysine, found in red meat and eggs, is vital for hair growth, making these foods important for maintaining healthy hair.
2. **Protein Quality and Quantity:**
– Consuming high-quality protein sources like grass-fed beef and eggs is emphasized for sufficient lysine intake.
– Adequate protein intake is essential, with around six to eight ounces of protein twice a day recommended for optimal hair health.
3. **Iron Absorption and Hair Loss:**
– Lysine aids in iron absorption, and sufficient iron is crucial for hemoglobin production, preventing anemia-related hair loss.
– Foods high in both lysine and iron include red meat, animal proteins, and eggs.
4. **Gut Health and Hair Loss:**
– Stress increases the demand for lysine, and gut inflammation can hinder amino acid absorption, potentially leading to hair loss.
– The connection between gut health, a carnivore diet, and hair regrowth is explored, emphasizing the role of the digestive system in overall hair health.
5. **DHT Inhibition and Natural Solutions:**
– DHT, a form of testosterone, can contribute to hair loss. Natural inhibitors like zinc, lysine, pumpkin seed oil, green tea extract, and nettle root are suggested.
– The importance of lysine in various bodily functions, such as reducing stress, lowering cortisol, and improving insulin resistance, is highlighted.
Once again, perfect timing with this video. I was losing clumps of hair, which in turn was causing stress. The hair loss has been stopped, went to eating 2x/day, and added more fat, but now I have to regrow all the hair I lost. Thank you for the info.
You mean you are eating 2 times a day? And what you means by fat?
The only thing that is missing in your videos is metric units that are understandable by the whole world, not just a few countries.
This channel is so close to perfection.
Ive been carnivore for 38 days. Since then not only have I lost 30 lbs my beard grew in, 40 years old and my beard has always had bald patches until now, I lost my man boobs and have more hair on my chest, and navel. Erectile dysfunction pain and inflammation, brain fog fatigue have disappeared. Thank you Dr Berg for your work.
wow in only 38 days, keep going
Wonderful results. God Bless. 😊
TY Dr. Berg. Stay Strong. Lost 50-60lbs because of your teachings.
Hi Dr Berg, I really love your videos! Thank you for all your hard work and care for all of us out here who are starving for information in regards to health. One thing I was wondering was why you did not mention Quinoa as a source of Lysine. Based on a short google search, I came across the following vegan sources for Lysine:
Legumes: Beans, lentils, and soy,
Tofu: A great source of lysine,
Tempeh: A good source of lysine,
Quinoa: Contains all essential amino acids,
Chia seeds: Contain all nine essential amino acids,
Nuts: A good source of lysine,
Seeds: A good source of lysine
Please advise on these and why these might not be good sources of much needed Lysine.
Thank you!!
Dr. Berg, it might be time to put together a supplementation guide for your line of products. I’ve noticed that many of them contain overlapping list of supplements, so if one was to combine a few them for their daily routine (for example Hair Formula + Trace Minerals + D3K2), they would exceed recommended daily dose. I’d love to see your recommended 7 day supplement schedule, maybe in combination with suggested meals. This could be a series of multiple guides, depending on what health issue is being targeted.
2 years of structuring life through your lessons. I’m Lean, Sharp and I run Ultra Marathons. Pure LIFE Balance. Contentment achieved.
This is not only a great video for hair loss, but overall health in general. I’ve noticed a huge difference with taking Kefir, honey and vitamin E(the good Kind) in my hair thickness and stress levels.
What’s the good Kind?
