He increased his VO2 max to max by started living under water
lol
Thank you, you save me 6minutes of video
Great timing. I just decided to do cardio
I am tired of “lab story stories” 😉
I encourages you to test your fitness the the real world. Come to CPH half maraton next year and translate that into the stats there!
(Well done with you increase in Vo2Max)
Just need to make sure you keep your joints healthy along the way. Small injuries can add up over a life time
Been increasing my cardio steadily for the last few years and it has made a positive impact on my fitness and body composition
thank you for
information
😅
Thanks
IMHO. You too heavy to have 66 vo2max, i don’t believe in those Indian measurements.
Lol, I’m only 79 kg
@@SiimLandhave you tried cross-checking the various Indian measurements with previous measurements from other countries’ labs to see whether they broadly match and aren’t too much of outliers?
Thanks for this video man! Happy christmas ❤🎉
Thank you too!
I have no doubt Siim will break the VO2 Max world record when he’s 100.
That’d be cool
What if people who are healthier have higher VO2 max instead of otherwise? I feel like all those pushing is just burning lifespan. Zone 2 feels the best. But what do I know…
Did you lose any muscle mass to aquire this Vo2max? Also seems very hard to maintain this vo2max, probably need to run many times each week. Seems impossible for me to get Vo2max above 60, but i’m at age 40. So that probably doesn’t help.
66 yeah yeah elite boy
Fantastic information as always! Do you know of any test to estimate VO2 max that is closely correlated to the gold standard?
what happened to sound quality?
i workout 6x a week (3x an hour, 3x 40min) and i swim once a week
i think i need to swim more
4:11 Short interval workout… 30s intervals, 5min volume. What does volume exactly mean here? Is it 5 minutes total, meaning just 30s effort, 30s rest repeated 5 times? And that 5min total is per workout, correct? How many times a week?
Clinic sounds intresting. What is it called?

You are deluding yourself Siim. When comparing elite athletes to the general population there is little if any increase in longevity despite the huge time and effort these people invest in fitness fanaticism. If you compare them to just those who are reasonably fit and have a good lifestyle but do no systematic exercise the elite athletes fare worse. Another problem is that the big majority of people do not have access to fancy lab devices and a multitude of tests. Nor would most of them take the time to obsess with these intricate details. details Studies of the oldest humans are clear that vsry few if any did programed exercise, much less high intensity training. The only common criteria for the oldest humans were getting plenty of sleep (no shift work), lead relatively stress free life and avoid excess weight. Some of them even drank and smoked well into their old age.
I’m not deluding myself. It’s all in the data. Whether or not the people who live longer deliberately exercise is not relevant to the fact that people who live longer have higher VO2 max at an older age. That could be because of some genetic factors or just healthy lifestyle but they still have a higher VO2 max. From a risk management perspective it’s smarter and better to work in increasing your VO2 max anyway because you don’t know what your longevity genetics really are until the day you die.
Time for VO2Maxxing
I found wim hof breathing and buteyko breathing while jogging helped me a lot
