Let’s talk about the top diseases that could really be nutritional deficiencies.

If you have a disease, doctors don't typically do much of a deep dive into vitamin or mineral deficiencies. They tend to focus more on medications and treatments instead of causes like deficiencies.

A lack of certain nutrients, like vitamins A, D, E, and so many more, can lead to debilitating health conditions. These deficiencies can cause problems with essentially every part of the body.

So, can we create health without nutrients? No, I don’t think so. With nutrients being so important for your health, it makes sense that a lack of nutrients would be involved in disease.

Many recommended foods are more likely to create deficiencies and destroy your health rather than build your health. A lot of foods your body needs are also left out of recommended diets.

Here are a few examples of foods that are often left out of the most commonly suggested diets but are essential to support a healthy body:

    • @Grace I’ve been taking 5000iu of vitamin D almost daily for the past seven years to keep my level in the middle of the “normal” range. I’ve noticed significantly fewer issues with allergies, especially poison ivy. I had COVID earlier this year at the same time a couple of other guys at work had it. They were off work all week with high fevers. I was sick for 12 hours and felt kind of blah the next day. I didn’t even realize I had had COVID until I was told they had it and were still off.

  3. Excellent information! I’m a Biologist, Biotechnologist and recently Nutrition student in my fourth year and I really appreciate the information and the “hidden way” you present them. There are several illnesses that are born in primary or secondary deficiencies, and this video helps me a lot to help others and myself ( Im a 38 years girl with Multiple Sclerosis and Scleroderma patient (CREST)18 years ago, stable and healthy thanks to my nutrition, excercices and treatments as well) Bless you 🙏 🫂 We need to keep educating ourselves 😉

  4. I really can relate to TB with vitamin D by personal experience. I stayed indoors nearly for 2-3 years few years back .Even my skin became too much fair staying indoors. suddenly i felt sick in winter found that i had TB.

    • There has been many alteration of our food and add chemicals with out knowing but take your eating back to the Bible and eat clean, as we were it is mentioned in The Word. The body is created in our Father’s image and we can heal to the cellular level by changing our food but also our minds. HalleluYah

    • @sharon c Yes, AMEN, Daniel 10:3 is an example that we can find in God’s word. As much as I love Dr. Berg, his teachings, his wisdom, the first thing that I do every day, and in many ways, is that I give all Honor, and Glory to God for the blessings He hath provided…..Malachi 2:2 We serve a jealous God, and that’s very okay with me. After all He is Omnipotent All Powerful, Omnipresent, with us always wherever we are, and Omniscient He knows our needs! God knew that I needed to find Dr. Berg’s teachings on fasting…. He is honest, caring, and easy to understand. Just what I needed, so I do thank God every day for him, his beautiful wife, and his family. I pray that they are safe and healthy always. Back in 2005 I went to a mainstream doctor that told me I needed to be on thyroid medicine. I was devastated, and I believed him and continued to take it all these years, and I always wanted to get off of it, after all this is the same doctor that misdiagnosed my husband and although we both stopped going to him years ago, my husband had to have a heart transplant, he had diabetes right after that surgery, and the meds also gave bladder cancer, so he had to have his bladder, prostate and lymph nodes removed. I want to go on a 21 day fast to not only lose 30 pounds, but to get off my thyroid meds. So, yes I cherish honesty, integrity, compassion and devotion to help people be healthy. Blessings dear one!

  5. Great content! One way to think of the human body is as an extremely sophisticated chemical plant were all functions in the body needs the right chemical molecule in the right amount to function properly.

As someone who now suffers from things that most likely were brought on by my bad eating habits, I want to thank those who bring us this knowledge so we can, at least, try to change upcoming sad outcomes. It may be too late for me but we all need to listen and learn from people making this knowledge available while we still can. Most of us will reach old age (which ironically many assume they won’t so they don’t worry about choices made when younger) and you don’t want that to be compounded by chronic health issues like not being able to take a decent breath or avoid chronic pain and suffering. Deal with bad choices now while you are young enough to change things. If you don’t see it as a problem take the time to visit low-income senior centers and talk to people who now suffer from their choices made years ago which then affected their ability to earn a decent living so they now live in isolation and despair while suffering. Don’t take that path. Eat healthily, live well, and don’t put your body through hell because you might just need it later in life.

    • For many years I followed the Piramid diet, putting whole grains in top, and eating low fat diet, never lost weight and developed Fibromyalgia, migraines, depression, sinuses and chornic allergies, finally someone told me about keto and fasting,and my whole health have improved. I am not out of the woods but making these changes helped me to get out of that horrible spiral food piramid.

      Hate to have to tell you but your “comprehensive multi” is fake, man-made.
      It is *not* what your body needs.
      I take a TON of “supplements”, some can actually make you sick.
      Like “Mike Young” above I’m suffering from a ‘misspent youth’.
      I’m taking supplements, get tested & find out I’m deficient in vital minerals.
      Take Dr. Bergs’ advice, go KETO, it lowers nutritional requirements.
      Go low carb, eat plenty eggs & meat, best quality you can afford.
      I have asbestosis, a “terminal” condition so trying to save my health & life.

    • They weren’t my choices, they were my parents, I was fed a diet of a bag of chips and 1 slice of pizza if i was lucky… from ages 8-17 when I finally started seeing that everyone else was eating chicken and eggs and all these amazing foods and i finally got my first job I started to get nutrients, but the malnutrition damage had been done… I just wish I had real parents man I guess I did something in a previous life to deserve bad karma or something because I’ve never been given any help other tham from watching YouTube videos and reading online, I never had a mentor never had a parent… both of them were too busy using illicit substances and doing w/e else… what a sick twisted world we live in, the fact that people get away with causing torment and anguish to an unborn life, the fact that you need a Drivers liscence to drive a car, but don’t need a liscence to have a child is a true crime of the planet, malnurioushed children all over because people that aren’t ready to give birth are just doing it to collect baby tax credits to get more substances to party with… and theres nothing I can do I’m not entitled to any recovery and live off a $10 a day budget for food still because I’m not capable of doing anything…

  7. Dr. Berg you are so right about potassium , or the lack of , High blood pressure. For so many years the doctor had given me blood pressure medicine and never ever kept my blood pressure down. Or even consistent……. Last April I had minor surgery , my blood pressure for the first time was normal after my surgery. I come across an old video of yours talking about potassium deficiency and high blood pressure so I increased my salads and my blood pressure went down normal and has not gone up since last April 2022… Even though all my blood test showing my potassium was in the level it supposed to be ! … Now I have to get my HDL up … Doctor does not want me to take Niacin with a Lipitor he gave me .

    • Yes, this would be a great video for me. I have anemia and high blood pressure and sometimes I have heart palpitations.

  12. During the last three years of illness I have seen over 15 doctors in my 3 emergency stays in hospital and then from the GP’s practice
    Qi have brought to the attention of each and everyone of them the problem of aching and tightening of muscles in my legs especially the calf’s
    Not one was interested and rather ignored me – it got to the stage of being very difficult to walk
    Then I started reading Dr Berg’s contributions
    Being type 2 diabetic he suggested that Metformin depletes vitamin B12 so I started taking extra B12 tablets
    Within days my muscles started to improve and now after two weeks that problem is almost cured
    I am so disappointed that doctors nowadays do not do the simple blood check to see if you have any vitamin deficiencies
    All they seem to do is to prescribe the latest drug and hope it will do something
    Dr Berg’s advice on deficiencies is worth its weight in gold

  14. Thank you so much Dr. Berg. This all makes so much sense. It’s sad that our healthy is not truly the top priority of these organizations/people who set our food standards. I hope more and more people will kpen their eyes see the true intentions behind recommending foods that continue to deplete/hurt our bodies and stop us from being able to heal with the correct vitamins/minerals/foods.
