  1. The fact that our country allows crap in our food that other countries ban has been big on my mind lately. How are we supposed to be healthy when we’re basically being poisoned? 😞😢

  2. Health food section… And a unhealthy food section lol. Whole foods are the tastiest. Preparing food should be fun. Everyone gathered around the kitchen. Its a beautiful thing

  3. My chiropractor told me 24 year ago, when going to grocery store you only shop in a large circle – what’s in the middle of the store is NOT Heathy!!!

  4. Since i have started trying to serve healthier foods, it us amazing how little there actually is to buy at the grocery

  5. This list of foods I’ll eat is getting smaller all the time. There are ppl in my life who refer to how I eat as a “special diet.” It’s not a special diet. It’s a diet that consists of actual food.

    • It’s a new way of living, not a diet, and people tend to think of it as a diet, but it’s a whole life change for longevity

  6. Thank God for people like Dr. Berg…🙏 through him we learn all about healthy eating and lifestyle….❤ God bless you more Dr. For everything you do …🙏

  7. How amazing would it be if we lived in a society where all our stores, even major stores, sold only healthy products.

  8. Recently subscribed to Bobby Parrish. Have learned a lot, esp important to check the label. Makes me think differently about what companies are allowed to sneak into our food. We are being enlightened by people like Bobby and Dr Berg. Thank you.

  9. I have said for years that grocery stores should change/switch the names between the produce and grocery. Grocery is the section with the fruits and vegetables. Anytime produced aka processed should be labeled “Produced”. Ha!

  10. We need to pray for and protect this man…. he’s speaking out against the food industry.. he’ll be marked for this

  11. So true! Even there are still some toxic ingredients added such as ‘maltodextrin’ in health supplements as well so reading labels is always a must. Thanks for this important reminder, Dr Berg.

    • Maltodextrin is found together with sweeteners. Those sweeteners are used in such tiny mounts that they are difficult to blend evenly into the final product. So they use a small amount of maltodextrin to mix in the sweeteners, then mix everything into the product.

It’s really a small amount, and as was said on Dr Gundry podcast recently, starches are slower/better than sugars, so don’t worry.

  12. And ‘maltodextrin’ is also found in the “health section” like Droopy the dog so always read labels carefully, including “Keto friendly” ones 👍🏻🌞

    • @@bgezal it’s understandable they have to do their “jobbie” so it’s a matter of awareness more than worry. The fact is that maltodextrin is very high on the glycemic index (GI) which is much worse than sugars and Dr Berg has videos concerning this topic that may be of interest.

  13. Years ago, in summer, I went into several Safeway & Albertson’s grocery stores asking where is the Sugarless Icecream located as if they had one at all, it was deeply embedded & hidden in all other ice creams. I think 1 store showed where it was they knew and it was in a difficult place to find. I ask all the managers to have a sugarless section and that it be marked. No one complied. The point is they simply want to see you what they market and do not care about your health. I finally stopped looking and now eat yogurt unless I am at a Creamery that may have sugarless ice cream.

  14. Great point Doc! I also think it’s funny-sad that there are processed/manufactured “Keto snacks” in packaging. No Snacking Allowed! ❤😊

  15. For the last four or five years our grocery shopping has been very limited and when we do go in? We are price shocked for the junk thats sold.

I order my grass fed meats and wild caught fish or shop one specialty store for them.
We bulk buy other foods, and grow what we can, and shop sprouts for our organic pasture raised eggs and raw milk.
Im 63 and i rolled back the calendar to my adolescence and cook everything from scratch. I process my own food meaning condiments except mustard. Everything is old school preparation in my kitchen. Even though Dr. Berg frowns upon grains, I actually mill my own wheat. When you eat that bread??? One slice is all you need per day or every other day because it makes you so darn full but boy does it keep you regular. 😂
