Is cinnamon oil as good as the powder?
Always a very good info, thank you very much for sharing your knowledge.
So glad to know this. Thank you, Dr Berg 🙏🏻
Most welcome! Glad you found it informative!
Motivational Doc has a before bed to aid sleep recipe of mashing a banana with cumin. (It works well for me)
I also add a teaspoon of cinnamon
Wonderful, Dr Berg! Love cinnamon. Thank you ❤
Use the Ceylon version, otherwise it’s toxic in higher doses
Exactly 🎯💯
Pls provide a link of Ceylon cinnamon if any??
Thats exactly what I use. 👍
Yes, because a lot of ‘cinnamon ‘ sold on the market is actually cassia or Chinese cinnamon. They are similar but different properties. I take Ceylon cinnamon with Berberine in a capsule.
Can I put it in a smoothie with an apple, dates and a banana? Will it still have the blood sugar lowering effect?
“Celyon Cinnamon”
Thanks, good to know 😊
Just went to comment the same ! You beat me to it ! I also use pumpkin spice along with it, because it also has clove ,ginger and nutmeg… all good …
Love little tips like this. In the morning I usually eat 2 seasoned scrambled eggs on a piece of wheat toast with Greek yogurt on it. It’ll be easy to add cinnamon to this meal from now on. Thanks!
Wow!
This brings back childhood memories.
Cinnamon/sugar toast… with syrup.
No wonder I was so hyper.
i add half teaspoon of cinnamon , half teaspoon of turmeric, little bit of lemon juice, and a bit of honey
in My apple cider vinegar .every morning it’s my favorite drink in the morning 😋 so refreshing and delicious
Thank you Dr Berg 🤍
Honey is sugar.
@@steverogers1976thanks for the 2c…
You are excused. Apple cider vinager is that bad tasting …
@@steverogers1976but it’s not processed sugar, it’s natural. Does that not make a difference?
Honey has some beneficial properties, but it’s still sugar. I use a little honey sometimes, too.
Make sure to get the Ceylon cinnamon not the Saigon version. If you got it from your usual supermarket like Wal-Mart it was probably the Saigon. Ceylon is the more effective one.
it tastes better too!
And safer because the ones from the supermarket contain too many pesticides.
I have used off the shelf cinnamon for years now and it’s effective . I am pre-diabetic and I go to the mountains every couple months and have pancake breakfast which is unusual for me, because of the carbs but I feel nothing afterwards because I take it with apple cider vinegar tablets. I also drink water with lemon. I do take the more expensive cinnamon now just to be on safe side. But again store-bought ones in a pinch works good
I add it to my coffee when brewing it. Tastes and smells wonderful.
Good idea. I’ll try it tomorrow morning. Thanks
Me too!
Same, been doing it for many years!
its affect not effect. fire your social media guy
😅glad I don’t work for you!!
Ceylon cinnamon really does work! Drops my glucose level when it’s high and possibly helped reverse my insulin resistance (which went from 11 to 4.1!). For me, cinnamon and turmeric work better than ACV and Berberine. Chromium is great too. Cinnamon is great in coffee, especially if coffee spikes you or you have a high glucose reading in the morning from the dawn phenomenon.
Awesome! Is there a certain amount we should to take each day of the cinnamon and turmeric?
Any link to buy online pls??
@@joytikukreja245 Simply Organic Ceylon Ground Cinnamon…available on Amazon and most stores!
@@vchafabI use a teaspoon of cinnamon in each cup of coffee, on yogurt or cottage cheese, and sweet potatoes. If my blood sugar is high at night, I will have a teaspoon on its own. I probably have 5 teaspoons a day. For turmeric, I put a tablespoon or two on my eggs and will do a cup of turmeric ginger tea as well. I wear a continuous glucose monitor and the improvements in my blood sugar are almost immediate🙌🏻
